Re: Best Four Champions...

4: Daroou, Sonja, Wuuf & Tiggy or Gando.
3: Sonja, Azizi, Chani
2: Daroou, Wuuf
1: Elija

Gothmog is also a very good choice.

Renaming DM / CSB characters is linked to the reincarnation process, which is absent in DM II. Of course the ownership is a reason. I just like the Skullkeep names as they are...

You know, the only difference between man and boy is in the price of their toy. Maybe that's the reason why less females play computer games, they don't care about toys as they grow older.
I heard this theory some time ago, but I like it... :)

I'm afraid there is no help with this "feature". Though the smooth walking is nice and stuff, it really makes moving slow. But I liked it, maybe cos I never thought of speedracing DM 2.

I never change the DM 2 names. It has no purpose and I am not very keen on "inventing" new names. But in DM i change the names just to see the champions are reincarnated. I have one (or two) names assigned for each character and change it just occassionaly. E.g. my new CSB party: Tunda = N...

Dark Heart Of Uukrul

Anybody heard of this perfect dungeon? It's quite unknown, mainly because it was released in 1990 and thus shadowed by the great DM. But IMO it can be put in the same row with DM in gameplay and atmosphere. I've played this game some years after all DM's but I really like it. I think it is more than...

LOL :D. Gargoyles were not very smart in choosing their name then, it's a little bit messy.
But I still wonder if they're not the same, though the people behind Gargoyle Games have different names than the Dungeon Masters... I think. :?

Dungeon Master had a profound effect on anyone who was around when it first came out. Though I fully agree, I've had first seen it in 1993/4, when graphics and everything were advanced a little bit more. But the game amazed me in every manner (maybe the dungeon was all the same, but who cares?) :D....

In DM2 manual for Amiga version, there are screenshots where in the inventory screen the characters have detailed head/torso/hands... not just schematics. I always wondered what kind of DM2 version is this, because I haven't seen such illustrations in the Amiga version.
