Oh dear... it gave me a rune, I was thinking (or rather hoping) it would be the 6th amethyst gem. So now I'm stuck with 5 runes and 5 gems... where to go?

Now the only thing left... I think... is this damned blue haze puzzle in the room with invisible pits and doorways blocked by pits. I've run around here for an hour, I'm missing something simple I bet.

I'm no good at riddles... am I in danger of having put equipment down somewhere earlier in the game that is now needed to put in this alcove (twice the middle)?

Spent the last couple of days trying to figure out how to get the 3rd blue gem for the ornate door. Text a chemists smelly cog - perhaps some kind of anagram but I can't figure it out. Are they all in the regenerating monster area or is there one back towards the fireplace and alcove?

I will try to count the zokathras without being mobbed by the 7 or so materializers and demons

I've entered the 4 coins, killed the vexirks and got another 4 coins... entered 3 of them but I'm stuck with one and none of the slots will accept it to turn off the haze in front of the ornate door. What am I missing? Are all the slots in the regenerating monster area?

Thanks Saumun, I'll backtrack tonight after work. It's not the lightning bolt green haze one, pretty sure it's not the shooter corridor and the mirror spell one or even the onyx key pit one so I'm guessing right at the beginning!

Oh dear, I seem to have reached The Hive doors with only 5 runes. I don't suppose anyone would be so kind as to point me in the direction of the DAIN tile, would they?

Nevermind, I got lucky launching fireballs while the blue haze was off and I guess the Oitu was there in the right spot because I had done that before to no effect. Onwards!

Right, well don't I feel dumb. Started this yesterday and I'm finally stuck but it seems to be at a place where everybody passed easily because nobody mentioned it!
