Re: EOB 1 on Lynx
yes, I already said the quality is terrible, but at least I can watch the gameplay; there`s no better vid on EOB Lynx on YT, or I don`t know of any.

Re: EOB 1 on Lynx
Here`s the video of EOB gameplay of Lynx`s full release, but the quality is terrible. Moreover, I don`t understand what the guy is saiyng, because it`s in german. But the game itself seems to be pretty well done concerning the Lynx`s terribly low resolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1d8f9ukJg...

I think it`s the only way. If 10 people would pay about 20 £ each, I think he would at least release bug-free version. Interested people should first announce here and then pay.Maybe donations would help?

I talked with Sophia about that and she said it is possible to rearrange the viewport - for example to implement 5 squares-ahead view. DSB is a very flexible custom engine. She could explain you all things that could be done with this engine.

"flip3d" term is used in Wikipedia/Dungeon Master discussion by Doug Bell himself http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dungeon_Master_%28video_game%29 : I got a question about the playfield style of Dungeon Master. Is there a common term which the pseudo 3D 90degree flip graphic style is call...

I don`t think so. Our community would be extremally valuable for helping with that (hypo) project. I mean, who would have better ideas other than the hard-die fans? Plus, we know the general game structure.

I wonder why he wants to do SunDog rather than DM? Maybe Wayne wants to try the smaller project first. Then go with something bigger. If that`s so, I would gladly help him with the Sundog project! From what I saw in the blog, he wants Sundog fans to give ideas, graphics and space structures for a &...

Re: Conflux III discussion thread - potential spoilers
I had assumed that was impossible. Did you mean the bugs? As for the bugs, two posts above I mentioned them (which of some were critical). It forced me saving frequently, but, luckily, since I send that post (27 april - 3rd may), I met NONE of the bugs - and I was playing really a lot in dozens of ...

Re: Conflux III discussion thread - potential spoilers
I had assumed that was impossible. Why? I thought it was impossible to finish it with a maleficient guild (Zyx told me somebody did it), but I was playing the regular ones. How long did it take you? Did you save all your recordings so that I could splice them together and make a complete movie? Ver...

Re: Porting/updating CSBwin for Linux and sound support
Sorry for a mess, Ful Ir. It was my fault. I had to simply change the Wine sound configuration - to Direct Sound emulation at 48000 and enable all the sound drivers. Now I`ve got no problems with sound when playing Conflux.. Once again sorry!

Well, I tried it and I don`t hear absolutely anything (the 2x window I get doesn`t have usual bar with speed/volume/window size options). I installed libsdl1.2debian-all and it still didn`t help.

Ful Ir, I was trying to run this program: http://www.cyberskald.com/repository/Conflux_3.5_B6.zip
(Conflux3.5_B6) using Wine. It works, but the sounds periodically doesn`t work (or working bad). What should I do?

Re: Is the Amiga version of DM considered to be the best?
One of the major advantages of the Amiga version of DM/CSB was a wall tapping ability (in early ST versions it wasn`t possible - I just can`t imagine playing with wall bumping every time). Gratefully, Paul Stevens added this (Amiga) feature to the code.

Re: Porting/updating CSBwin for Linux and sound support
Do you know how can I play CSBwin games on Ubuntu? I`ve got a sound problems when using Wine. Conflux has a lot of custom sounds and it causes a problems I think; some sounds are often silent, some are partially played, sometimes I don`t hear a wall tapping, etc.

Re: Conflux III discussion thread - potential spoilers
The latest update (Conflux_3.5_B6) seems to run fine for now (with the latest, 11_095 CsbWin executable; the one from cyberskald page is 11_095), except for the sound, which is no good. => I can`t hear most of the wall taps, mainly on the lower levels (especially when a party is moving fast with tap...

Wchich version of Conflux should I play - B4, B5, B6 or 3.5? In Encyclopedia there`s link to B4 (also C3.5 separately) and in Conflux Wiki pages there`s a link to B5. Wchich version is proper? Are there some bugs in B5, that were repaired in B6? Is B6 more unstable than 3.5? Could you clarify? Where...

Re: ConfluxIII-B6 Wiki
That`s what I just did. I didn`t want to take "real" maps because of avoiding spoilers. So I dumped Conflux and got an output file. By editing this file in notepad I got something that looks like a binary code (1=WALL, 0=EMPTY SPACE). This took me about 10-12 hours of hard work. There were...
