That sounds simple enough! It sounds like you can't set a lower boundary (too bad), but I think I have a way around that. I'll just need to subtract the upper boundary by the lower boundary, then add it again after the random number has been found :) Thanks for the help.

DSA: random number?

Is there any way to randomly choose a number within a range using DSA in CSBWin? Thanks.

OK, I expected there to be none...that's OK, I was actually making my own simulated attack, this would just improve it You get the player damage message when you remove health from players, it might be nice to have the same option when you remove the health of monsters Just making sure you understan...

DSA: Display Damage?

Is there any DSA that will show a certain number of damage in the blue starburst? I'm talking about the damage shown to the right where the attack hand actions are. It's what's shown when you use an attack and it does damage on a monster. (Have I clarified this enough yet? :)) Thanks.

Actually, that name sounds kind of familiar...maybe I ran across it when I was searching for audio programs just because that's what I felt like playing with... :) but that doesn't really matter... Here seems to be the program that Tom is tal...

If you have the full version of Melody Assistant , you can export into other types of files. Melody Assistat is an awesome score editor (for writing music). It can open midi files. It can also export the scores that are in the music file you have open into different formats, like .wav. That's the on...

There are programs that can convert music files (like you have), I'm not sure about midi files though...maybe try searching for something like: "audio convertor" +midi or something like that if you feel like getting a different convertor... Another possibility might be to set your WavIn* t...

Ah, first tried &MOVE, then tried to figure out how to set a monster HP to 0 (using &MONSTER!)...so I guess those would both give that error...what luck to use them both...I totally forgot about that help window in the DSA dialog...thx for the reply, I'll get it eventually (I'm sure soon)

"Filter Modifying Dungeon"

While trying to figure out more DSA, I came across an error when I activated my DSA...it said "Filter Modifying Dungeon"...it then said the location of my DSA actuator in the dungeon (0(0,31)) and then it said "Row=0;Column=3"...I activated my DSA with a party attack filter...wha...

I guess if it doesn't really matter if the wall is open or closed before I close it (if it's open, close it...if it's closed, closing it keeps it closed), I could just tell my lock to activate the DSA that returns the key as well as (the lock) closing the wall...that way I don't need to mess around ...

I'm talking about putting it in 0T0, not 0C0, so that it only closes if it's already open...if it's already closed, it won't do any difference anyway...and I always thought triggering a normal message would be just as complicated as closing the wall through DSA...it sounds like almost the same thing...
