Re: [RTC] Eye of the Beholder

Actually it was the Dwarves. I haven't played through the RTC version, but in the original, you shouldn't attack the dwarves, if you talk to the dwarf priest, you can make him ressurect the found bones of dead npcs (much like an Altar of Vi in Dungeon Master). The guys with the bird heads are called...

Re: [RTC] Eye of the Beholder

Try to lure the Kuo-Toa into an area where you have enough space to sidestep the fireball. Use the mouse for fighting and the keyboard for moving.

Re: I need YOUR PERSONAL help for a game

Today Kai, one of our 2 best jugger players, caught 100% of the balls that determine, how much cash we get. that means we'll get the full 2500 Euro of the shared price! Thanks to everyone of you who made this possible with a vote for Jugger in this competition!

Re: I need YOUR PERSONAL help for a game

Thanks for the reply! Yes, indeed it's a live "re"-enactement of (Australian) "The Salute of the Jugger", (American) "The Blood of Heroes", (German) "Jugger - Kampf der Besten", with Rutger Hauer as the main protagonist. Currently we have about 90 active teams...

I need YOUR PERSONAL help for a game

I know, this doesn't have anything to do with dungeons (though the sport was initiated by live-action-role-players 1992), still - I hope that I have some friends here who are willing to support me and my team with little more than a mouse-click and any email-adress (can even be a one-shot-adress). M...

Officially announced, planned release date is September 21st, but considering the huge list of fixes to do I'm not sure whether there might be a delay.

Re: New old D&D game

@oh_brother: The engine and interface will have lots of fixes and improvements, see the subforum "bugs / fixed" there. It will have 2 new adventurers (no details yet), and probably there will also some new features regarding kits & classes (also no details yet).

Re: New old D&D game

Lol, no, I'm not a programmer and I'll never release a comuter game, I just resort to being a paper&pen dungeon master. But as mentioned above, I'm looking forward to the new "Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition" that is currently under developement by Beamdog (licensed by Wizards of the ...

Re: New old D&D game

Tutu or Trilogy are great (don't forget to install the DeGreenFilter to fix grafics conversion glitches), especially if you mod them with the gibberlings3.com BG2-Fixpack and BG-2 Tweakpack and make the AI smarter with Sword Coast Stratagems I + II. Add a couple of portrait packs and more script opt...

New old D&D game

Currently, despite being curious, I don't even have the proper time to look into DSB 0.53, since I'm busy with another game that is currently in developement: Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition: http://forum.baldursgate.com/ Since I'm probably not the only Dungeon Master player who also loves Baldur's G...

Re: Looking for some tricks and scripts to make gameplay eas

What about my suggestion - to have the classical CSB magic map and have a larger automap that records, what that item has detected - including false pits revealed by OhGorRos etc.?

I mean, what does it do exactly, currently (in theory)? I havent seen it so far.
I would prefer, if the automap would just record everything the magic map has shown so far.

Re: DM & CSB in DSB fix thread

Fine! For comparison - the firestaff in Sophia's test dungeon already works properly. CSB: The question is - have there been bugfixes to CSB, after CSB+MM had been created? If not, updating both instead of one shouldn't be much of a problem. However, in that case it might be even better to completel...

It'd be very cool if there was an automap that records, what the magic map item has shown.

Re: Big List of DSB Feature Requests

At least in DSB turning in another direction is useless - the ball is turned westward in any case, returned eastward by the next teleporter and the hits then party (if then party is still standing there).

EDIT: Simultaneous posting - Paul just already clarified the problem.

Re: Big List of DSB Feature Requests

Well, when you find some time to remove some bugs, I gonna test the result again. DM already has only a few bugs left, and there's only one severe bug (the failing transformation of the firestaff). Some errors, in CSB aren't that complicated - monsters not appearing because the generator creates 0 h...

Re: Big List of DSB Feature Requests

Great, looking forward to V0.53 And right - of course you have your own priorities in regard to your to-do-list, but there's one thing you should consider: Most people stumbling upon some DM clone here firstly want to recapture their original experience with DM1/CSB, and some of them get then intere...
