Blimey!

Ive been away from the forums for 2 or 3 weeks, and its a real shame to see a thread like this here.
i only hope you can resolve it , and not make us all turn into arch enemies, and cause RTC to fade into the background :(

[Not a bug] characters returning to normal positions

when your party is attacked from the side (or back), the party members turn to face the monster.

in RTC once turned they stay in that postion until you move them back.

in ST DM after a certain period of time (not sure now long) they turn back to the 'facing front' position.

Remember a while ago we were all talking about the speed that Steem (ST emulator) runs at in relation to monitor update speeds and other factors? ive been talking to the STEem programmers, and they say that STEem runs at exactly the same speed an ST ran at by default and no adjustments are required ...

[Fixed for V0.44] weapon 'actions' and XP levels

Whilst playing my test game I noticed that in STDM and RTC DM the actions that you can perform with any given weapon or object (a wand for example) at any given experience level varies a bit. So, being the sad person i am :) i did a experiment on RTC and on PCDM as i couldnt change character stats i...

Right, i see what the problem was.
as gambit said i (or we) were trying to actually edit the DUNGEON.DAT files and change the character mirror stats.

but ive started a game on DMPC, saved it then edited the save game file, selected the characters, and re-tried it and it now lets me edit them!! :)

[Fixed for V0.44] "lucky" kicks, chops etc

something ive noticed, im at the screamer room in my test game. As i think i mentioned b4 champions dont need any experience levels to be a able to 'chop' with an axe on RTC you need to get to 'apprentice'... are the actions with weapons against XP levels "made up" in RTC? also, on ST DM, ...

editing character stats in DMute v1.4

Hi, i have searched through the forums, and cant find the answer to this. I have also read through the txt doc with dmute but still cant find out how to edit the characters stats? when you load up the dungeon, then in the misc. menu select 'edit characters' it allows you to look at the character sta...

Some you win, some you lose - it looks like with the worms you are lucky; in plenty of other cases, you're much worse off by the monsters splitting up because they can attack you from multiple sides at once and a fireball etc spell only attacks one of them at a time... lol, ok!! yeah thats true. :)

george, to what degree have you 'fixed' this prob in the next version? just completed level 3, at the end with the mummy and the worms on my test game. obviously the version im playing V0.43 hasent got your 'fixed' monster AI implemented yet, but on ST DM those worms at the end of the level are very...

[Not a bug] scared monsters

im not sure if this has been resolved with a previous post "reluctant monster AI", but this is slightly different. monsters on RTC DM come to attack your party, but when you have given them afew fireballs, or chops of the axe and they are almost 'dead', then turn and leg it, so you have to...

[Fixed for V0.44] rock piles anit-fire

just a query. do the rock piles have the same anti-fire on RTC DM as they did on the orginal ST DM? or were the values extimated? because, on my test game ive just gone down onto the 3rd level where you meet a few rock piles. it took 10 level 1 fireballs on STDM, but only took 6 on RTC DM to kill hi...
