My name, Well besides the obvious connotations to my favourite character in DM. I had thought black hand when initially registering onto a php roleplaying forum that my brother and I set up. I believe there was a monty python line going through my head at the time: ...and suddenly should he feel the...

:D I have a question that I'm hoping is fairly straight forward. http://www.canadiancontent.net/forums/images/smiles/icon_scratch.gif I would like to know if and how I can use different wall/floor types in the Editor. In my custom game I only have the one option....the basic. Howwever if I open the ...

Yeah, how dare people not read all 27 pages of this before posting! :D Yeah, I gotta do what I must considering I'm checking out posts in between phone calls. I don't think management would take kindly on me doing so if I tried reading everything. Especially considering that they don't want u...

But that read-only setting returns if you look at the folder properties again -- go on, try it! I'll have to check that out later. I don't think they'd be too happy at work here having me install and tinker with RTC. http://www.canadiancontent.net/forums/images/smiles/icon_scratch.gif I did h...

How do you get rid of Write Protection? Lessee here what I did was: To Get Rid of Write Protection 1) Right Click on the RTC folder 2) Selected Properties 3) Then under the General tab, there was a checked in box that said read only...I unchecked it and that was it. Oh, you hit OK after that. (some...

Hmmm, that's where I actually got that error was when I went back into the editor...as I notice it usually tells you what errors are there...I'll go in and check a little more. I also was given lip from the computer when I checked out the sound effects of a triggered object. Gave me something like :...

Hmmm, I thought I actually tried that (it's becoming instinctual) but I may not have selected what I was looking for properly. I'll have to give it another shot. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions...especially with Relays and the like. It's a pain in the butt trying to go through the h...

:D I'm glad I found this thread , I was having issues for the same reason...(Not the TAB thing)... I wanted to test just a blank room to see whether I did it right, but for the life of me I didn't know where to add in the config.lxt stuff. After reading this I think I do now. I was looking for a spe...

What!? Whoa...Was that it?
 I've been lucky enough to get the RTC running on my system and had finally been able to play DM2 for the first time. I liked much of the changes added to it, stores, moveable items, varied graphics. However I thought it would be as extensive as the first DM...Maybe it is, and the extra goodies...

The guys at work here have found something annoying to pass the time...so far the record for it is 36.141 seconds....it's annoyingly addictive and you'll probably gain ninja levels playing it.

:D Yay. I've actually... finally have DM working on the comp now. Bloody dial up took forever to get the RTC downloaded. I've already reincarnated Wuuf and now ready to go back down. It's been about 13 years since I last played (( on a computer, the nintendo version doesn't count )) so I'm wondering...

I lived in Kelowna a few years ago. It was quite nice and I found that the winters were....well it wasn't much of a winter then either. But then again I was more used to the NWT at the time anyways. I haven't been in Vancouver since I was 8 or somthing like that and I barely remember Stanley park. I...

Me too! I tried one once, but as a joke-- I thought it was suicide and I didn't think anyone seriously did it. I certainly didn't get very far. When playing that's all I pretty much used was one. I found Choosing Wuuf The Bika was the best start as he had decent mana, and a flask that you can start...

Damn, so many memories. I woudn't know which really gets to stand out. I found the Roaring/barking rats hilarious...and learned that their bite was worse than their bark. One favourite experience wasn't mine as it was a fellow I had introduced the game too. I sat him down in the dark computer room a...

Again, welcome to the forums Black hand Bika! I hope you'll enjoy your stay here with the original games as well as some custom dungeons - some of them are on par with the originals, if not better. Actually I just noticed that. I had no idea that there were so many other variations of the game, inc...

:D Greetings everyone. As expected I'm also a DM fan since...87 I think which brings me to the age of 32 now and I still want to play it. I was introduced to the game on the Amiga and pretty much played it until the disk broke...then til the copy broke, and so on and so forth. At the time I lived in...

Ahhh, the Avatar. Well I found it in use on another forum where I was reading the Order of the stick , and I couldn't resist using it. As for Faery tale, I found some more info on it...perhaps even a couple of sites I can download it...or try to anyways. Essentially this is what it's about As for th...
