After seeing the sandy wallset that came with RTC, Egyptian mythology appealed to me. Something with lots of scorpions and mummies, and, of course, various custom monsters. Running around in ancient pyramids and tombs, finding treasure, solving the curse of the Pharoah... it could be fun! It could ...

Dungeon Idea Dump
I have mentioned that once I replay the original dungeons I may try a custom dungeon. I figured some of you probably had ideas that you didnt have time or patience to do, just wondering what kind of dungeons you thought about making or would like to see. I was thinking that a Pirate, Mythological, o...

Numlock or not - most of the time I play on a laptop without a numpad, but lucky us RTC config.txt allows to to remap the key configuration pretty easily. For example I use SXADYC fo movement, F1-4 for character inventory, F5 for inventory cycle, QWER for casting character, 1234546 for spell runes,...

Yes - only the forward/backward/turn arrows map to the cursor keys ont he keboard, but all six of the arrow keys map to the lower half of the numpad - try that and I think you'll find it works ;). You can also change the keys in the Config file, but those are the RTC defaults. OK - cool. I will try...

Level 4 Hit and Run Problem?
Hi, I just started playing DM, the original version thats packed in RTC. On level 4 there is a puzzle at the start thats really giving me a hard time. I come up to a button that teleports me in front of a door 2 blocks down the hall. I need to side step through the door it seems but I can't do it fa...

Alot of people use the standard old graphics to a point to quickly make the dungeons, large scale graphics replacement is pretty time consuming, as someone like Linflas can attest to! If you haven't already though, check out his 'Forest of Doom' thread in the custom dungeons forum Yeah thats pretty...

Thanks for the greetings folks! Like I said I mostly experienced DM over my fathers shoulder. The first time we encountered the worm monsters I apparently ran out of the room crying, haha! So I need to beat DM myself at least before I think about doing my own dungeon. In the past I made some interes...

Hello, this is my first post! My name is Ian, I am 23. I'm working in IT now but I went to school for Graphic Design. My dad used to have DM for Atari ST and I'd watch him play most of the time. I also used to like to edit the character faces, possibly an omen of my future computer art interest. Any...
