In reference to RTC 0.39 crashing...
Lunever wrote: It occured during normal gameplay. I've been throwing a knife and immediately after that pressed ESC to freeze the game in order to handle a real-world distraction. I could do so then, since the game crashed.
The dryness of the last sentence killed me. :D

[Fixed for V0.39] CSB minor dungeon error

Whilst looking at the CSB dungeon in the editor, I noted a small error in level 4, and when I say small I really do mean it.

There is a dent floating inside the wall space at 15,11 (editor coords)

Not sure if it's a dupe or it's just in the wrong position. Either way it's in the wrong place.

I believe the E button is to alter an existing target, effectively deleting and adding, but with a single click.

Yes a third E button would be cool, to save me from RSI, or just leave the A button active so it can do the job.

All the runes in the DM RTC dungeon are on scrolls, the runes on potions are just to let you know at a glance what kind of potion it is.

Coloured light would effect all dungeon contents not just wallsets, shifting the hue of any object it fell on. Monsters could glow (if allowed to cast light intrinsically) Objects such as Bilbo's sword "Sting" could be made to glow and cast a cloured light on the presence of and enemy (aga...

I like the export map idea. Not so sure about giving the whole game away with the txt files though. Although it did get me thinking. Way back the editor could load RTC files, maybe a switch for designers to enable/disable this ability. I can't see this one arriving but, input added non the less.

*Drags this back on topic.*

I asked if light might ever becoloured, now it cab be localised. It would make fo rsome nice spot effects and could be useful for making underwater or deep arborial type settings.

Bloody marvelous, I've always said this to friends but never here. RTC is to dungeon crawls as unreal is to FPS, a complete and rounded package to allow new content and levels to be easily and seemlessly made. A first rate accomplishment for a "bedroom programmer" GG I salute you.
