Ok, sorry. How about a delay in the cloned monster itself, in the assignment of the attack method, add a delay there. Then it doesn't effect player attacks.
On moving away from an attack, why not. eg If you telegraph a hay-maker anyone in there right mind would step back, wouldn't they?

Y'all missed that one. I want monsters attacks to synch with the damage they do, not players hitting monsters.

When animated monsters attack...

Not sure if this is a bug as such, but definately a bug-bear for me. When a monster attacks and hits, it's damage is applied immediately, before the animated attack has time to play. To me this breaks the use of animation in monster attacks. Can damage be shown and applied after the last attack fram...

This is something that has always "bothered" me about the FTL games and hence RTC. I too would like the action icons to match the party arrangement not the portrait order. e.g. When you change party arrangement the action icons automagically reflect this pairing the front and rear champion...

hmm, good idea. Not what I meant, I was just refering to the use of these new hiddens to create class like abilitites, such as lowering food/water consumption levels for a dwarf type race.

I'm going to guess that these stats will always be hidden at runtime, as they should.

SPlendid, this would allow greater flexibility when creating different character classes/races for new dungeons.

OK, we have a strange case of misleading case sensitivity here.
Wuuf: that got it, tx. BUT, the dm.rtc part, although it's actually DM.RTC seems to be insensitive. When did DOS on the PC become case-sensitive for folders and not for files ?

Yes true enough, but a few shortcuts is less than a new install for each .rtc to play, and less hassle too. Not hugely important, just a thought.

I'm with Luenver, a "blind" compile would be useful. A menu or toolbar button in RTCed that could command line compile your dungeon without the RTC graphic environment. I'm sure command line has been mentioned before, but I'll do it again anyway. WOuld be nice to be about to: RTC "\mo...

In RTC stats (S,D,W,V) appear to have little, if any effect on stat (H,S,M) progession at lvl up. Some clarification of min and max expected values would be nice, help me finish my character generator spreadsheet. I'm trying to simulate accurate characters for new games. After using "special&qu...

The waypount idea is kinda what I have in mind. Making sure a path is clear would be down to the designer, monsters should simply walk from one to the next waiting if specified.

[Not a bug] Cloned WALLITEMS don't like to toggle

A cloned WALLITEM, I've been using dent will not toggle visability via a trigger or relay. They only way I've been able to manage this is using a FLOORITEM_TRIGGER set to constant weight with a triggering item on the floor, then either destroy or simply teleport it away. I've tested this with a mirr...

If you are talking about dungeons you have or about to download, put them in the modules folder in the rtc main folder.
