It's no biggie, I just was planning on playing in W mode so incase my boss at work passes by I can just click on another window in the taskbar and tell him I'm working on an important report:)

I downloaded RTC from Georges site...good to finally have a proper version of DM for windows. But it claims to have CSB in there, but what's up with only the first level? Where's the utility part of the game and how do I get into the real combat part of the dungeon? Or is this purposely unavailable?

Jerky even on an Anthlon 1.3gig processor?

And what is the undeliberate method you mentioned?

How do run the game in a Windows box? I can't seem to find any other option than full screen. Also is DMute compatible with RTC?

Hey long time no see! I was just wondering if there was finally a hacked or rewritten version of DM that works with sound under windows? I think this is the biggest thing that should be worked on, because many people are moving away from dos and with every computer upgrade, the chances of a PC comin...

May be kinda silly to ask but is there a way to listen to your mp3s through Winamp while playing DM in pure dos? I haven't really been playing too much DM lately because I've been d\ling so many mp3s off Crapster. Anyway to do this?

Thanks zyx. I just found out that putting FF in the fourth byte doesn't quite give 64 charges, but about 15 charges instead of the normal 5. This is interesting. If FF gives 15, I assumed GG would increase the number but appearantly GG isn't recognized in the byte box. So what do you think the next ...

I just toyed with the eye of time using dmute and it seems that the digits in the box at the bottom and second from the left change when you use freeze life. a few quick dmute Qs 1)Why can't flasks be traded? 2)Food is considered an item and can be traded with other non-food items. But since food can be absorbed, does that decrease the overall item quantity? If so, can I add more items to my inventory if I "abdorb" a few apples, drumsticks, etc...
