Funding Conflux III
Dear all, First off, a shout out to all of the veterans of the forums and those who still remember me. (You have been sorely missed!) I had gone missing back in 2010 on account of caring for my terminally ill mother and to pursue personal growth of my own. I am both glad and pleasantly surprised to ...

Re: Custom dungeon preservation project
Argh, thwarted by another politically correct answer. Haha, thank you so much for being considerate beowuuf, but you guys are helping me revive a lost love for an old flame. I've grown up with this since I was a kid, literally. Thanks for all of the good memories T_T

Re: Custom dungeon preservation project
Hi guys! Sorry, I know this is getting a little bit out of topic here, but I just wanted to extend my gratitude to all of you as an amateur game designer and total lover of the world of Dungeon Master. I know that my post here would probably derail the original intent of the thread, but I just wante...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
This is it, the "end" I think? Old big boy and I are doing the dance of death circling a bonfire in the middle. Still trying to figure out how the bonfire relates to snuffing old Mr. C though. Any hints on this?

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Oh my... that's something rather profound. I did not realize that but expected that you'd have a failsafe plan for sure. No good dungeon goes without some forethought. I was close to getting the right idea but your spoiler answer set me spot on with the answer. Thanks and now it's time for some long...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Hmm, thanks Sophia. Terribly sorry to be explicitly dunderheaded about this particular one. I have actually done as you have suggested but have ended up in what appears to be an empty room. I'll try looking around harder to see if I have missed anything. Thanks for coming through for me ^_^. I'm so ...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Thanks ian, But just to mention, the answer to the turquoise key problem in the other thread doesn't really help either. I know I need to get through that part to get the Master Key. At least that's what I think. If not where's the Master Key in the Nightmare map area? Gah...this kills me. Even so, ...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Still haven't gotten an answer to the missing Turqoise key that gets me past the Vexirk stuck in between both gates down the Nightmare path. Can someone help me out here?

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Aahh thanks Sophie, A lifesaver you. Much appreciated. That clears up a lot of the questions I had earlier. Yeah, you're spot on on a few things: 1. The first sapphire key I found was indeed located near the first door etc. The second one as advised however, I have yet to find. I'm going right back ...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Indeed, SS really is a mini masterpiece, I had a ton of fun with it. Old school dungeoning genius ;-) Aye I second that Gambit. Gosh, I can't believe how many hours I've burned off today just playing with Sophia's dungeon (somehow that sounded really wrong). Anyways, I'm now stuck at two separate l...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Argh!! I should have guessed. Note to self: Never ever try to get a Google or Wiki answer for Sophia's dungeon next time. Haha... I thought I was devious, but clearly you are devious-er :P It's brilliant. I had a stinking suspicion it was that actually, but curses... I cannot believe that real life ...

Re: Surgical Strike (stuck) *Spoilers*
Omgosh! So that explains why it didn't appear to do anything at first. You're a lifesaver you! Come 'ere. *HUGS* Thanks for the rapid response. I'm seeing a little bit of staggered free time now and then, which doesn't give me much time to play proper full on games in continuous blocks of time, so t...

Hey ya guys, Long time no see! I've missed all of you and it's great to be back and see there's been significant growth since my departure from this thread a year back. I've been busy with freelance writing since then and have been looking for the elusive time off. Anyways, I am writing in to praise...

Touche Stewy! Glad it helped haha.. now if you happen to explore beyond that area and find out more about what's happening on the other end, do share. I'm sort of stuck in the areas behind now haha. *sweat* I don't have a green thumb nor do I have eyes on Xanathar just yet. You'll know what I mean w...

Aahhh Stewy, I saw that you finally discovered the interesting wonders of the soap and water area. Yes, you are right in your assessment that there is a lot more to discover on the level, and I am just a little bit ahead of you there. There's just so much to discover! As you'll notice, there's quite...

Thanks for the reminder Michael, I will have it sent over to you whenever possible as I am currently bogged down with a sudden article writing request or rather project that I have to deal with now. Even saving Trill becomes secondary at this point :(. Sorry to make you wait on me my good man. Humbl...

Oh no no no Michael, Thanks for knocking some good sense into me. I realized that this is only going to get worse from here on. It may be just this map, but what happens if it happens again the next time? Can't go crying into the night each time. So I guess I'm porting over. Thanks for the help in a...

Just one question though, you sure it's not too much trouble to ask for a favor? Can you maybe PM me your email address so that I can have it sent over? A...

Hmmm possibly, possibly, Well that's that. Now there's another big question Michael, one that I hope either yourself or Black Eagle can answer. I know the shortest answer is probably to have me play the Amiga version of the emulator or the Steem one, but just bear with me guys? Now I'm playing the P...

Hahaha! That was a hilarious situation if I ever heard one. Black Eagle, you have my condolences  . I'd hate to be caught in something like that, no matter how trivial the code! To be honest, I am not surprised that it has happened to me before as well. Thing is, I am considered lucky because...

Well Zyx, If you're referring to the area I've noticed the pressure plate, which is the obvious one, and another one which is the hexagonal hidden plate. I take it that the setting of the puzzle is meant such that when I enter the room there's already debris of dead golem lying around? I think I can...

The answer seems so obvious yet vague though, because I tried it and there are no stone golems to speak of. Completely missing. Only his club lies on the floor. Hmm... and anything from the outside refuse to enter this area. Haha... never mind, I'll try an alternative of your technique and see how i...

Hahah yeah no doubt, I started using that trick a long, long time ago when I first played the Atari version, but am just reminded of it thanks to the webbie! Initially I was going around it like a tough guy with the deflector on, but after a while I started employing the wait and listen to the music...
