Re: Working on a Fantasy Novel

As a quick update, I'm currently working on Chapter 13, and that puts me at about the half way point and ready to start the raising action towards the climax.

EDIT: I've got the map done and will be sharing that soon.

So far I'm not recognizing any of them either, other then the EOB one, which I played enough times on my Amiga 500 to to recognize the start of it. @Eric Bauer, these are really cool designs (even though I know they're recreations, but I'm sure you're learning skills you could use for original work...

Re: Hibernaculum - Survival Horror RPG

This looks like an interesting concept. I recently started a gaming youtube channel and this game could make it onto the roster if the devs are able to get it to a playable state.

@Gambit, if you hear more about it, please PM me as I'd love to keep an eye on it.

Re: I'm done with big main-stream games

I've pretty much checked out of most mainstream games at this point. Too many of the AAA studios make games designed to squeeze as much money out of gamers as possible. From the overpriced shovelware annual titles, to EA's lock everything in DLC content and sell a stripped down game that maybe quali...

Working on a Fantasy Novel

Been so long since I was last in here, I'd almost forgotten about this great community. Been busy working on a new medieval fantasy novel this year and have some concept art, and the first 2 chapters to share with you here. Gnoll's Honour In a world where ancient empires have crumbled and new kingdo...

I'll definitely want to check it out. I've got a community that includes avid TTRPG'ers on DIscord and could introduce you to them to see if any of them would be interested in trying out your game.

My visual update to DM/CSB remains in low resolution. I'm slowly updating all the creatures through pixel editing, which is a huge undertaking. But I'm not sure how far to go with the changes. Here's an example of the skeleton. Which do you prefer? The one that still remains close to the original s...

I've been gone for years, glad to see so many of the old guard still here, and to see you still hard at work on DSB. Hopefully it works well on Win 10, I'd like to get back into the DM games as much as time allows, and with Christmas coming up soon, I'll probably have a little extra time for games f...

I also use Brave. If you're wondering, it's a privacy specialized branch of Chrome, so chrome add-ons also work with Brave.

Pity it kind of diverged into only talking about the Elite series and no-one made any mention of the other game I mentioned... I can't speak for the others, but for me it's purely because I know nothing of the card game you mentioned, whereas I have played Frontier: Elite 2 and know that game well....

I'll have to insert Undertale at the top of my favorites list now that I've played it. Toby Fox did an amazing job with that game with minimal help from other developers and a soundtrack that's the only video game soundtrack I've ever felt was worth buying.

Man, I still can't believe Fox dropped a series from the creator of the massive hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Jos is a genius on the small screen and Fox really dropped the ball on that one. I was really getting into the series, the story, and the characters when --- BOOM! it's gone!
