Re: So, tell us about yourself...
Lurking is fine. I've apparently been trolling on another game forum though I'd say I was just enthusiastic. How is everyone? I haven't played DM for a while since I put my amiga back in the cupboard. Instead I've been playing Red Dead Redemption for Xbox and might n magic gates to another world and...

Re: Avatar
Avatar is out on DVD today apparently. I saw it earlier this year in 3D, i thought the story was kinda cheesy but visually it was outstanding, however, the 3D aspect serves as little enhancement. Pleanty of room for improvement i think!

Re: what's in your garden
Cool thread, I dont grow much food in my garden. last year i planted an onion from ASDA and it produced seeds but i'm not sure if they'll grow, I'll find out this year. The onions flowers were rather interesting, atop of it's hollow stem the flowers formed a dense white ball, perhaps the size of a t...

Re: St.Patricks day
Cool info! thanks guys :) I think i'll check at my local library for literature about St. George and his origins and see what i can find. I dont really know anything about him other than that he was a knight. Last year i read a book about the Knights of Malta and thier battle against the Ottomans, i...

Re: St.Patricks day
I attempted to celebrate St George's day yesterday by putting up a picture of Geogie's cross in the rear window of my crew cab Ford Transit Tipper but my supervisor told me to take it down because apparently some people don't take kindly to us showing our patriotism. Whats the big deal??? Muslims ar...

Well put Chaos Shaman, if Earth says its ok to put CO2 in the atmosphere then theres no need for us to worry. She can take care of herself.
We just need to look after our own personal living areas.

Re: Lord Chaos teleportation
I have just looked into this as i have a game saved at this point and i found that; When performing fuse whilst Lord Chaos is surrounded by three walls or Fluxcages and your party, he disappears! Then when you turn to look for him he re-appears behind you, so it does seem like he turns invisible. Ob...

Re: Amiga Kid Dungeon
Ah, right, your grammar was misleading. I see you were actually asking two questions: Why did they alter it slightly? Why did they not make a note of it in the manual? Your question as worded asks "Why did they not mention in the manual that they altered the dungeon slightly?" :) Quite ri...

I'm glad there's an abillity cap! The last game i played took me years and i only managed to get Gando, Boris, Wuuf and Tiggy to Um master wizards. Re: Ninjas
Ok, i'll try to be serious for a moment.
Do the following contribute towards ninja experience:
punch and kick,
any weapon thrown,
the sling and rope,
any item thrown by the party leader's hand,
and what about running through the dungeon?
Please correct me if i'm wrong or missing anything

Re: Amiga Kid Dungeon
So that people would know that it existed of course! I've never encountered the kid dungeon loading instructions like the one I saw on the DM encyclopedia! How come people buying the game for the first time in the early 90's, or whenever the 2.2 version was released, were not informed of the kids du...

Re: RE: Ninjas
Here's a quick question, however, i think i know the answer.
Why is there no champion that starts with journeynan ninja?
I believe the answer is because ninja is the easiest skill to learn. But then who would be the best choice for a ninja? I think Alex Ander given his stats.
Whats your thoughts?

Re: Dungeon Master on your PSP
I have a PSP but I still need to get it hacked. When I do my friend has an Atari ST emulator with DM and it runs great! The PSP isn't ideal for such games but is managable as you can use the analog stck for mouse movement. The Amiga emulator for PSP is poor and struggles to cope with some games, the...

Re: Amiga Kid Dungeon
I noticed this thread ages ago but never got round to making a comment. As I have an Amiga I have tested this and found that holding any Alt key from the FTL screen loads up this dungeon. There is no mention of it in the manual, I dont know why? It seems like a great way for children to get to grips...
