Haven't played original DM in a while now. Recieved some prettt bad news on the home front last night and for whatever reason decided i wanted go Dungeoning (as mum and I used to say) Took my old faithfuls Gothmog/Wu Tse/Halk/Daroou and got to the end of the worm level before hitting the sack. Wanted To Share

Hey guys, thought this might be of a little interest here I'm in the process of getting a tattoo sleeve dedictedto gaming - specifically games that mean a lot to me/have invested a lot of time in. So naturally i had to have a nod to Dungeon Master/Chaos Strikes Back. I ended up going with a Demon fr...

Re: FINALLY!!

haha I didn't realise that was #100. Very nicely done if inadvertent!

I didn't actually run into Chaos. Walked straight through his little hidey hole and into the full ya pit.

How do I download Conflux? I found the list of custom dungeons, but couldn't see the actual download links for them

Hey all. Never used csbwin till now (usually use rtc) but two things i was wondering. Is there a keyboard shortcut to go straight to a players inventory? In rtc you just hit F1-4 but doesn't work here Also do poison bolts (des ven) do anything in this game? I unloaded about 6 mon strength ones into ...

Re: Something new...

Does RTC scale the power of fireballs from opposition? I've been feeling like i've been coping a fair whack from them so far but i can't get through the zoom area in ROS at the moment. Keep getting drilled by the demons Also another new thing. I restarted a game on csbwin, in supplies for the quick ...

Re: The Dumbest way I died...

Yeah, casting a fireball against a wall is a classics. It happens to me even now sometimes, and it used to happen to me / us very often back in the 1980s when we were playing "duo" (one walking - keyboard, one using mouse) - the "mouse master" casted a fireball against a creatur...

Re: Cloned/New Monsters

Lol if I could work Lua I'd be on board ;) I'd figured out a basic way of doing it with strength multipliers, but it then gives you a weapon that would split everything else in the dungeon in twaine. There's also the option in the edit/use/additional action section to "Action Damage By Monster ...

Re: First ever 2 man group

Yeah I'm a fan of the Delta. I enjoyed having two Axes though. I get the Hardcleave on 10 though don't I? Speaking of which, what's the progression order of better weapons from here? Know I've got a hardcleave, diamond edge, inquisitor to cone... What else? Didn't realize the monsters were setting i...

Re: First ever 2 man group

Finally been able to play briefly again. Just blew over level 8. Hasn't been too hard so far. Closest I've come to death so far is getting barreled by some fireballs on 8 while stuck in a corridor with a ghost. Lack of mana is an issue, kinda, but nit really. Just bonking everything on the head work...

Re: First ever 2 man group

Yeah that's a handy solution indeed. Think it took me about 15 cracks at it. Didn't end up going through the pit room as I didn't need anything in there. I've been pretty lucky with beholders so far, only been clunked the once when I wasn't looking. I just took the shortcut through most of the level...

Re: First ever 2 man group

Yeah I hated the scorpion level. I would always run into them while rounding corners and have a hat attack :( I just completed level 2. They're now both: Journeyman Fighter Apprentice Ninja Novice Priest Apprentice Wizard Halks running around with Health: 188 Stamina: 149 Mana: 25 Carry Cap - 62kegs...

Re: First ever 2 man group

You can also get some free mana by holding wands or staves in your hand. Once you've gained a level or two in the Wizzy or Priest skills, you should have amassed enough mana to be able to cast stuff without having to equip items :). Are there any mana adding items on level 2/3? To be honest I very ...

Took me a little while to find it, but I got it, thanks. Not sure why it'd pushed the ambient level to 100 though. It did make it easier for testing though at least :)

First ever 2 man group

I'm attempting a 2 person run through for the first time at the moment, so we'll see how that goes. In terms of character selection, I've taken Halk and Stamm (Recarrated) but I was wondering if I'm going to have any issues not having any mana until level 4? I know I won't be able to get through the...

For some reason the editor works fine at my work, but the actual game doesn't. So a lot of the things I was editing I couldn't try till I got home.

Lighting levels

For some reason one of my levels is exceptionally bright and sparkly. All the others levels in the dungeon so far are sitting at very dark when ambient, but this one particular level just amps it up.

I can't find how/where to change that though (Nor do I know why it's even doing it)
