Re: OH KATH RA
I noticed that in CSB lightning bolts can be useful againgst knights and golems, but not in DM. I came across this while being trapped by a golem. I emptied a storm ring on the creature and the bolts killed it...

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
Oh, yes! I already tried one called "Tower of Champions" and was totally overhelmed by the game complexity (and the power of RTC ).Ameena wrote:There's plenty of custom dungeons to keep you busy once you get done with that as well .

Re: Two weapon fighting
With trying around a little, I managed to produce the desired effect with an combine action. The attack method fires a combine action, which checks for two daggers (and destroys them, I don't know if I can prevent this). Then, in the properties of the dagger, I defined that on a combine action a new...

Re: Two weapon fighting
How can I build such an actuator and create/route "new" actions? As far as I've seen in RTC editor, I found no way for creating new actions. Or for checking if particular items are equipped.

Two weapon fighting
Has anyone ever implemented an attack method with two weapons?
Take a dagger for example. I'd like to create an attack method like "attack with two daggers" which checks if two daggers are equipped and then deals more damage than a "normal" dagger attack.
Is this possible?

What resources may I use?
It may be a strange question, but I'd like to ask which resources (graphics, sounds...) I am allowed to use in costom dungeons. There's plenty of cool stuff on the net, but most if it is some sort of personal property, right? Is it okay to use net resources for custom dungeons anyway, or do I have t...

Re: What do you like/dislike about DM2 compared to original
I really disliked that monsters no longer come in groups. I missed the "four monsters per square" feature of DM and CSB. And the new monster AI... it has Pros and Cons. I like that monster do react like dodging fireballs and things. But I dislike that some monsters alsways know where you a...

Re: Diabolical demon director, any clue
As far as I remember you have to go up the stairs from the DDD. You find them when you turn right from the entrance, just have a rockpile stand on the pressure pad to close the blocking pit. Up the stairs, enter the teleporter and follow the corridor that has some hellhounds in it. It will lead to s...

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
Uhm, I hope this is the correct thread to say "hello" :) I was playing DM on Amiga from the very first days, and now I found this community. Great that the game still has so many fans :) I'm really looking forward to read what other people have to tell about the game and it's sequels. I st...

Creating wallsets
Hi there, I started learning editing via RTC some days ago, and now I'd like to create my own wallset. Do I have to grab my Windows paint and start painting from scratch, or is there an easy way to create wallsets? I even don't know which and how many pictures I have to create for a complete wallset...
