what would be best is if some nice gfx artist could 'touch up' the Amiga graphics a little with some more colours :) Its a thin line between improving the graphics and loosing the 'character' of the originals though. Its the same with Doom, lots of people have tried making 3D models for it but imo n...

the default speed is set to 'max compatibility' so that for a novice user the emulation has every chance to work properly. Then after everything is working fine, you can gradually tweak the settings to improve things :)

Turn up the "floppy drive emulation speed" ;)

Evenmoreofftopic: had that on me Amiga too, using a Mac emulator. Since there never was an 060 mac it ran faster than it did on the Real Thing 8)

iirc the power of the spell did affect the ammount of time it stayed shut. Or perhaps I wanted to think that to justify the extra expense of mana used on the spell

 Ideally I'd want both, but its pretty easy just to put your money where it should be i guess. Having the shop tidy it all up for you would be great. Perhaps have a variable delay depending on how messed up it is, and if its REALLY bad have the shopkeeper just throw it back at you 'Not worth my...

on another note, I'm sure that in the original DM2 you wern't able to damage them whilst they are underground, yet you can in RTC. I just had a quick go on the original PC version and it seems that way, unless my party are just really rubbish fighters

ok cool it looks like we were talking about different things here  All I was suggesting was that as part of the shopkeeprs loose change sorting, they could arrange the 'items' in the money box neatly as well :) So would it or would it not be possible to have the 'item' layout in the moneybox or...

What I'm saying is if you hand over your money box they'll sort it according to the 4xlower currency rule. I did it many times because I just love seeing all those shiny, shiny blue diamonds 8) I know each shop values things differently, haggling was always alot of fun. I even tried pinching money o...

Thats true, but ALL shops value each item of currency equal to 4 items of a lower currency. i.e. 1xgold = 4xsilver, 1xsilver = 4xcopper etc.

Try it yourself in the original DM2, put a money box on the left table with nothing else, the shop keeper will sort all your change for you :)

VirtualPC was far too slow for me, but DOSBox works great if you 'overclock' it (pres ctrl-F12' several times)

You have to close the blue portals on the walls with a spell, that reduces the number of minions that can come through. Though they will open again eventually!

[Fixed for V0.42] DM2 Tree/claw type monsters

I'm not sure exactly what they are called, but those tree/claw type monsters in the first section of the game that travel underground never pop up randomly like they used to. I miss the bitey noises they used to make when they come up, its part of the DM2 experience  Also the noise is handy for...

0. Am I the only one in the world who liked this feature then? I agree with Suule the Rams are much to easy to beat without this. Though you can just cast a speed spell in the original DM2 anyway... 5) I'm not too bothered about this, though I do think its quite usefull and I do miss it. But m...
