your writings are very familiar because we can identify with your "learning curve" my friend that's what you're going through, take it from me - you have learned so much already, that for you to create a good dungeon is almost in the bag when you have 0 critical errors, George's program wi...

clarification

ooops my reply isn't too clear

lines in notepad edits that start ; have no effect on the compile

it seems to me that lines in notepad edits that start / are also ignored

so
both ; and / inform the compiler to read no further

Sophia what is the significance of / over ; ?

beowuuf not everybody, sorry to correct you but there are quite a few ppl on internet by virtue of cable tv internet this sad concept involves a TV - yes just a simple £99 TV, wired into from a cable TV set top box using this the TV (not a PC) can be used to surf internet and reply on message boards...

new creatures ?

Legion this is totally beyond our reach surely ? you have access to any creature ever used in DM or CSB, by virtue of copying and pasting from the relevant notepad blueprints and back into yours as for new creatures .... from where ? it would be cool, agreed - but I think we have to make do unless G...

Re: Who owns the rights?

there is just ONE screenshot included with George's 6MB of files when you download the RTC pack it is titled mainview and shows your view as you enter the dungeon from champions' hall it would be cool to "borrow" from other emulators with an F10 key that pushes out a screenshot to your des...

thanks beowuuf I didn't realise that dmweb.free.fr/Forum had that uploads forum brilliant idea, but it needs to be regulated so that somebody (George ?) puts the mass of entries, into a NEW TOP TEN index of dungeons IMHO we could go to the TOP TEN f...

futile gesture

LOL
all the sound effects are so typical of the 1980s genre
horn of fear ?
why pick on that ?

all the SFX are so negligible, but then what sound would you get in a dungeon ?

actually a few far off "ice wind" sounds would be cool I guess

Chests contain these objects

Duncan I think objects that are to be placed into your game, must have tabbed x,y and z coordinates in the case of items referenced to go into a Chest, then the items do not share the same x,y,z coordinates as in the case of an alcove, but instead go -1,-1,z and the chest has bracketed line numbers ...
