Actually only one wing of the door is wider than in the final version - the left one, which was cut off later. That explains why the front door never opened evenly in the final version. That always irritated me.

I had bug 2 when playing the game on my Atari back then. I always thought of it as a feature and found it quite cool. I didn't even know it was fixed, I just assumed I got better in fusing over time.

You really prefer Zak to the newer titles? It doesn't even have dialogues, which makes it for me, despite the awesome story, far worse than newer LucasArts games.

To be honest, i doubt that will be comparable. While the other stuff suffices for older games, the CPU is really weak. It's ok if you can play the games directly, but might be too slow for emulating.

You need mainly a really good CPU, because that's what is most needed by media players and also by DOSBox. My good old P4 for example is too slow to properly emulate Lands of Lore in DOSBox.
