Re: [DSB] Unintended Heroism
Eh eh. however, you probably will not miss food or drink. There are plenty, even too much if playing with only one or two chars. Finding flasks shouldn't be a problem too, spamming YA potions will both solve the stamina problem, and make you a better priest  ( by the way, you may want to have a...

Re: [DSB] Unintended Heroism
Yep i noticed that issue too ! With a few ninja /warrior levels it gets better i think . This is probably caused by the base high wisdom / mana of the main char .

Re: [DSB] Unintended Heroism
You can set it up in DSB itself aswell : ingame, press escape, enter, => go fullscreen (you can also remap your keyboard settings in that menu).

Re: [DSB] Unintended Heroism
Hello the master . Are you using the latest DSB version ? As mentioned in the patchnote : - Added dsb_set_lastmethod and renamed dsb_lastmethod to dsb_get_lastmethod This may be causing your crashes (anyway, i can not reproduce the bugs with the files posted here). Be sure to run the dungeon with DS...

Re: [DSB] Unintended Heroism
That's a good thing, I don't have to worry about the original link to get dead, now. Actually we could just remove my original link to replace it with yours. There are still a few think i'd have liked to add in the dungeon (like banters for each recruitable npc for example, and other time-consuming ...

[DSB] Unintended Heroism
Hello ! Here is my first attempt at a custom dungeon, for DSB. A few notes (27/08) : -The dungeon is rather linear, and is 13 levels deep. You may, however, want to explore a bit, as there are quite a few hidden places. There are two distincts endings. -Most of bugs should be fixed by now. The threa...

Re: Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan / Ascension
As for BGEE, if I had an iPad I definitely would go for it. I am considering getting it for the PC, just going to wait and see how much is enhanced and how much is new. I may eventually give it a try on PC too ; the problem is, a lot of great fan-made mods already exist, and i guess they won't be c...

Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan / Ascension
Like I said in the http://www.dungeon-master.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=23999 topic, this article made me think about a special game, and wanted to share my thoughts about it on here :) . Has anyone here ever played "Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan" (released in 1999, and its "add-...

Re: Retro Gamer DM Article
Thanks, that made my day ! Really interesting article, although it ends somehow abruptly - they did not mention CSB (was it the exact same team ? ) . I'd have liked to read their toughts about the still-enthusiastic community, and the whole "clones, custom dungeons, etc." thing. As the art...

Re: A few questions !
Well, it doesn't really make me smile Well i really did, i spent a hour thinking i didn't understand anything, even when someone wrote the full code for me. What a relief, i'm just an ultra-scatterbrain  . Thanks for the extra parameter in the xp_up function, i , indeed, wasn't aware of that ;...

Re: A few questions !
Thank you ! This is helping me a lot. Just to make you smile, i have to tell you this : I spent about an hour trying to make the experience bonus work, with the code you provided, with no result (nor game crash...). I tried just about everything, when i eventually remembered that i had set up the XP...

Re: A few questions !
Now, any time you send a floortext a "Next Tick" message, it will display the text as though it had gotten stepped on. Thanks, it works as intended, and allows me to put the floortext anywhere in the dungeon, making the whole thing clearer. The thing is, i just wrote down the code you gav...

Re: A few questions !
Hello Sophia, thanks for your quick reply :) . I spent a few hours tonight (well maybe more than a few...) on ESB ; indeed, the basic functions are rather simple to understand, and i think i'll be able to do most of the things i want to, with the ExVars (the test dungeon greatly helped me to underst...

A few questions !
Hello everyone ! I currently have some free time, and somehow craving for creative activities . This coincides with my "yearly Dungeon Master nostalgic period", so i considered doing a bit of dungeon crafting. A few years ago, i had the opportunity to play around with the RTC editor, which...

Re: The Dumbest way I died...
Sleeping, drinking, sleeping, drinking. Sounds like fun actually. Yeah. It reminds me my Master's degree studies. EDIT: And, yeah, to get back on track, welcome to the forums, Sasha! :D Thanks ! I admit that I've been reading these forums for years, without taking the time to leave a message...

Re: The Dumbest way I died...
Indeed, they were two of my favourites (although listening to their discussion was somehow boring : " -hssssssssssssss -woof ! A ruf raf Lord chaos !") .
Back then, i think i used to reincarnate too, for the stat boost, keeping the original names.

Re: The Dumbest way I died...
When I re-discovered Dungeon Master about ten years ago on PC, I was very enthousiastic, but didn't manage my food and water very well. Eventually, i got stuck deep in the dungeon, starving to death, spending my time sleeping , in order to recover enough mana to create Ya potions. That's it. Sleepin...
