I always had a soft spot for the Diamond Edge, but on my last play I went with the Inquisitor... and I think it may be better.

I used to play it with my Amiga hooked up to a stereo system. One of the only times I've ever genuinely jumped out of my seat in fright was when I was creeping along and a worm I didn't see attacked me suddenly from the left.

It is somewhat disheartening to come to the forum, see all the little crimson icons and thing 'yay! Lots of new stuff to read!' then scan down the last post list and see they're all the same person :(

I think it's funny

I wouldn't wear one personally, but that's because I don't wear clothes with slogans and the like on, but that doesn't mean to say I wouldn't chuckle if I saw someone in one.

You know - the original seed for this came from something slightly different, so it's funny you should suggest that, Tom. I'm a bit of a tabletop game fan on the side. Real old-school dungeons, magic, monsters and dice stuff. Talisman, Dungeonquest, Heroquest - all that kind of thing. Anyway, I was ...

It's air-drying clay, which is lovely to work with (and a lot easier, which is the main thing). I'd be pretty upset if I had to endure the problems that come from baking clay :( I think I'm going to work my way through the monsters as they appear in the game. I've gone a bit out of sequence with thi...

I am doing the whole set (a long-term project that's for sure!) Hopefully by the time I get to things like the Oitu I'll have figured a few things out. At the moment I'm just bumbling along, doing whatever seems to work.

I started playing this a few weeks ago. Well, I say started playing it but I've only played one game so far  I've been intrigued by it for years but never took the plunge, and my current revitalised interest in old-school tabletop games brought it about. From what I've investigated so far it s...

Just been bashing about on this, very very nice indeed. From the screenshots I assumed it was going to be full 3D, so I was very happy to find that it's the DM-style step movement (3D games give me motion sickness). As a demo showing the technical side of things It's very accomplished. From a gamepl...

Tetris would come out on the DS at least. Either that or it would permeate into the homebrew scene so strongly that some big corporation would gobble it up, produce a visually flashier version and stick a £30 price tag on it.

Yes, I'm bitter about Every Extend Extra.

RTC made me realise the utter greatness of poison cloud/bolt. Previously I'd always been a fireball spammer, but being without it for so long made me experiment and I'm glad I did. Certain things just crumble when faced with a bit of poison.
