Those are CSBwin absolute level(x,y) locations. They are the
same as those used here:

Wow. There were about three or four spots where I said "How
did he do that?" I'll have to play it a few more times to see what
happened. Pretty clever. I was surprised to see you take the
'KU' exit from DDD. I didn't think that you could get through there
that fast.

It is interesting how differently people view the various levels
of Dungeon Master. Perhaps that is its secret to fame - having
something for everybody. It is amenable to speed runners, grinders,
careless exploration, careful planning, mapping, and even cheaters like
myself.

Re: Where are the Gigglers?

what do you mean by "The source code ignores items at many locations" Sorry. I should have explained more clearly. CSBwin allows you to play to an alternate goal. You need to kill every monster and return every item to the area around 5(14,25). To do this, you obviously need to visit almo...

Re: Race to Fusion

Tool? Hmmmmm. Well, I used 'Debut Video Capture' to record the game from the screen/speakers. Then I used 'Handbrake' to compress the resulting 6 GigaByte Hufyuv/avi file to about 37 MegaByte h.265/MP4. Both are free, a definite plus for me. There are a dozen other tools that would do either of the ...

I was wrong. An object can arrive at that location and be inaccessible. I think it is exactly as you say. The source code ignores items at many locations: 9,31,36,ANY, 7, 9,26,ANY, 7,14,34,ANY, 5,14,25,KEY, 5,15,25,KEY, 5,15,26,KEY, 5,15,27,KEY, 5,15,28,KEY, 5,16,24,KEY, 5,16,25,KEY, 5,16,26,KEY, 5,...

Indeed, you have played this game so long that the virtual time has overflowed. There is a 24-bit timer that counts one-sixth second intervals. That is 16,777,216 intervals or 2,796,202 seconds or 46,603 minutes or 776 hours or 32.4 days. In that time you have moved the party 23,679,874 times. Hmmmm...

Wonderful. This opens many possibilities. A cooperative race to fusion. How much can the record times be improved? Complex strategies seem possible, especially in Chaos Strikes Back. A competition between two players. Tiggy versus Halk. What are the rules? I see there is a server and a client. Can t...
