For what it's worth, I'm with Gambit. About the only thing that I'd feel right about adding without spoiling the "pureness" of the game is a spell to create ful bombs. Probably FUL GOR, that seems to be what the manual hints at. Even then, I probably wouldn't use it much. I mean, who wants...

I found these forums and started playing with RTC recently... it's really neat that people are still quite interested in these old games.

Not a DESTROY but...
You could always put a FLOORITEM_TELEPORTER in the same space as the alcove, and have the alcove activate the teleporter, which will immediately teleport the object off to some obscure location.
It's not strictly a DESTROY but it'll do what you want.
