Re: He said , she said game

Jan, don't worry too much. The Czech quotes are probably very close to their english translation.. as long as the quotes are not trying to rhyme, you should be ok :D Another trick to use is to type the words "movie quotes" along with other key words you want as a response to your other quo...

He said , she said game

ok, so it doesn't have to be he or she related.. but it kind of fit well with the them. The goal of this is to post two different movie quotes from two entirely different movies, where the second quote could be seen as an amusing response to the first. Here's an example: ----------------------------...

Re: Buying new laptop - should I finally go Apple?

Windows OS = made to run on everything Mac Os = runs on Mac... It's easier to make energy efficient software that "just works" when you know exactly what you have to work with. Much of the Mac is built at Apple. They know it inside and out and develop it according to their way of doing thi...

Re: Buying new laptop - should I finally go Apple?

In tests of apple laptops with windows, running our games and software... apples barely lasted longer in battery life than any PCs once you installed windows on them. (win 7 at the time) so despite claims of 10hr battery life, once sitting down with Maya or Crysis.. if you got 3 hrs you were lucky.....

I'm sorry Gambit, didn't mean to rub anything in.. just frustrated. Here in Canada we're seeing some small impact in our currency and there is concern over how this change impacts us as a country. There are a lot of deep emotions for us due to the connection we feel with the UK. People were yelling ...

It's not new, you're right. As for saying it's not surprising , that's only making the point further. We've lost the will to fight because it's just "par for the course".. as for Independent Media, they are just as prone to threat and bribes as any other source of humans on the planet. As ...

Re: Brexit... sad.. so sad

One of the biggest issues with governments on a whole... and I mean this pretty much world wide.. is that they RARELY seem to be taken to legal measures for lying to the people. from a basic point of numbers. If the vote to leave, half the country is pissed off, and if they don't, half the country is pissed off. Though, luckily if they vote to not leave, the half that's pissed of are old they may not have great memories as it is. :P Really, it should be a vote for the young...

I have no idea what the government officials are thinking about now.. I mean based on the vote, close to half of the UK is going to be super pissed at them.. such a close vote is a big deal. Actually there was a quake like clone in the works at the end of life.. and graphically it was equal to the quake of the time.. but it only made it to demo stage. I think they just wanted to prove it could be done.. after that doom was converted over and I played it on the a3000 and an a4000 aga.
