Think about the firestaff in Dungeon Master. It needed something to ignite it. The very same object can be used on the ra locks in Chaos Strikes Back’s fulya level.

The scroll has nothing to do with the cauldron or the recipe.
It is solely to do with how to open the ra door. It is a pretty difficult riddle.
For the cauldron, you need to put all four recipe parts into it.

The click box for the picture in the temple is quite small. Try clicking at the top middle. You don’t need to revisit the spike trap. There are three doors in the cellar. As Christophe says, all the versions are on the shared drive (in the ‘custom dungeons’ folder).
I’d recommend playing v4.0. Definitely the best version in my eyes. It has one or two things not in previous versions, and better boss fights.

I was not aware of the Pal/Pa thing, but I have always wondered why it is “Dane” for wisdom potions and “Dain” for everything else.

Tip: Get materializers next to a wall, and Des Ew will hit them regardless of their phase... and a Mon level spell will either one-shot kill them or at least leave them very weak.

Not necessarily. You may be able to import in dungeons that don’t have a reincarnation option. They’re not directly linked. As I said, in DR2 it was a necessity because some of the mechanics depend on the character name, but it really is up to whoever built the dungeon and what they were looking to ...
