Re: "They're made out of meat"
I watched the video. Interesting but I'm not sure that what the guys explicitly theorizes corresponds 100% to what's happening. @SU: I agree with your definition, but there are so many conditions for your process to work that you take as a given on an unconscious level. With a dog, your organic bodi...

Re: "They're made out of meat"
I don't know if they're superior, but one could speculate that since they talk about the meat being bound by c, they're not: thus, at least part of them is not made by matter and energy (at least nothing of the sort we know to exist). Because of their time scale (two galactic revolutions feels like ...

Re: What the... Snow in June, then in August!
Renewable energies won't solve the global warming (but if we solve it, they can prevent it from happening again). We already released more than half the world-wide oil reserves, so even if we were to completely stop using today, which is not happening anyway, the carbon would still be in the atmosph...

Re: What the... Snow in June, then in August!
i just had a go at the info posted Zyx and i didn't see anything new in there I didn't selected the site for its novelty but for its concision: it goes straight to the conflicting points. This site, as the previous one I gave, contradicts precisely and briefly the main arguments denying a global wa...

EDIT: to put the readers in a good mood, a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAY1UoQYMHk @Chaos-Shaman: I think there are some misunderstandings about why I posted here. I came here as a friend. Re: What the... Snow in June, then in August!
i use many other sites Zyx, they are just ones i see when i log on, and was easy to do. what sites that are not biased do you have that i can visit? I would recommend scientific sites (by that I mean not that they have legitimating credentials or are part of an establishment, but that they proceed ...

I don't know what those articles are about (I don't have time to read them) so i don't pretend to discuss the topic per se, but I can't help notice you're getting your source of information from yahoo. Some medias are interested about truth: they put their sources, their data, allow for peer-reviewi...

1. Worked for me. Did you click on the eye?
2. EDIT: fixed for next version.
3. You have to have accessed the 4 guild leaders to remove the walls.
4. Send me a savegame showing it.

As for your question, elodman, I think such arrangement allows words to be born anew and convey their meaning stronger, because they break the routine format. Depending of who is talking this way and in which context, it can mean a lot of different things.

I think like Ameena. Correct it is.
@Seriously unserious: being rare doesn't make it alien to English. I would go as far as to argue that everything that is understood by English speakers is part of Engilsh (and that English grammar was not designed, it just happened, shaped by a collective mind.)

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
As long as we cultivate our critical mind and humane values, we become filtering machines for this now accessible unlimited experience. So somehow it should be possible, among trusted friends, to share our cultural selections that should, according to us, guide kids into fair, free, healthy humans. ...

Don't do that, while Conflux distracts you with endless riddles and fights, it insidiously starts to study your reality and simulate it in-game(*). After ten years of running, more or less, it would reach your present. If you play with an accelerated clock, reality would then start happening first i...

I don't know the veracity of the tweet, but I can relate somehow with the parenting problems I'm facing everyday with my son (2years and half) and niece (8 years): there is a constant exposure in medias to things which diminish their emotional well being and intelligence: violence, stupid but omnipr...

Linflas and I are on a french forum about gamebooks. As far as I know, several members have written adventures with two characters. Last one was published two days ago: http://litteraction.fr/livre-jeu/chrysalide (fr) I'm currently planing to write an adventure of 100§ each year, if everything goes ...
