Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web

a niche some oldschoolers like us can be into :)
i like the idea but the main issue is providing, i.e. penciling, good lighting profiles. i am not a pixel artist but i would love playing a little html5 game with that feature.

I never picked Wuuf (sorry Beo), Gando, Azizi (because she's hot), Tiggy, Mophus, Wu Tse.

Good news, i'm still not a fan of new illustrations (btw, looks like illustrators are french/canadian french people). I miss Bob Harvey's !

Re: Avast version 8

I've stopped using Avast as well (after yeaaaars).
I tried Microsoft Security Essentials. I found it cool at the beginning but it switched all Windows Update settings to on - i.e. automatic update - and became heavier everyday.
I finally switched to AVG, which is very light and not too intrusive.

Same as Paul. I never camp at the junction because some nasty worm/scorpion can sometimes bother me.

Strangely, that puzzle is often the first one newcomers talk about. And the real thing to know about it is the serious impact of party load. Looks like the fist stage of "DM thinking".

Re: Addictive games from the ATARI ST

DM/CSB isn't stuck, it is just loading the game (and that was long at that time) ! you can improve floppy speed in Steem, then take a memory snapshot and you won't have to wait anymore.

Re: Fluxcaging Chaos Lord

Chaos teleports slower in RTC, it is easier to fuse him than any other DM version.
In my custom dungeon, Chaos is easy to defeat if you have the correct weapon. Otherwise, he's a killable but very tough monster (like dragon under DDD in CSB).

"Sky my husband !" "Ciel" is of course the great blue thing over our heads but also has a religious meaning : "God's place", "Paradise", etc. "Ciel ! mon mari !" is commonly said in "Vaudeville" theater comedies by a woman to her love...

Words with several meanings

Sometimes I learn some new "false friends" in english or some typical sentences that mean something completely different. Today I'm surprised with the verb "dribble" : how "salivate/drool" can be in sport the action of maneuvering of a ball around a defender... Did I mi...
