I've sent you the modified class file for the teleporters, before I had a chance to read your post here. Sorry about that. The custom deko, won't work in GIF format anymore. All custom deko has to be in PNG format. There is also some other graphics that work this way, please check the readme file wh...

To change the teleporter graphics to PNG you must tell the code the new file format. This is simple to do if you have the right tools for editing the code. Personally I use DJ - although I have been told by Ian that Eclipse is just as good. In your unfamilair with the code, I will change this myself...

Speaking of text adventures, I still have the entire collection of Level 9's. My Mam and Dad was really into them when I was a kid, and are years old. On the Amiga I think it was, or Amstrad? I think they also did a PC import as well or I used an emulator (can't remeber now). There on my Hard-drive ...

The underwater level is something I've been working on myself - the idea being taken from Black Crypts I think it was - or Shadowcaster (I forget which). The use of teleporters in this fashion is a good idea, but it depends on the actual theme one wishes to create. Also a new directory (or folder) w...

Wallset.
I've been doing alot of modifications for DMJ this past month or so - which has been going rather well. My latest project is another wallset - which can be used as mines or something - which I will admit is my first attempt! Although it is originally designed for DMJ, I'm sure it can be converted (w...

Here's some more of the work so far, mostly conversions from the original DMJ graphics, Dungeon Master II and Hexen. Most of these images are complete, and I'll update my previous post for the download link shortly. Please feel free to use, edit, and modify any of my work for your own conversions , ...

Animation - at last!!! It's a little long windowed - but if your willing to get creative you can achieve <(spelling?) some great effects. How about a deko statue that holds a flaming torch who's flames animate? Or a new door graphics that acts like a teleportation system? Or a new sconce with a torc...

I've found out a few more things - Pillars have to be a certain size in order for them to be centralized - however, the coordinates can be changed within the Java code. The only down-side to this, is that if you change the custom pillar coordinates - you'll have to stick with it. The up-side is, you...

@ Ian' - No prob, I'll email them to you on completion. I have changed the graphical format from GIF to PNG in the java .class file. I have made copies in both formats - but you'll still need the java .class file for the corrdinates to centralize the wall deco. I'll email you some screenshots of wha...

While waiting for Cow's to complete his wall set, I've added some wall deco that fits in with his theme. Only the wall ring so far - but to replace the wall hook, I'm adding some shackels that are daggling from the hook - still working on the side views at the moment. I've also been concentrating on...

RA2 is a cool game - but Yuri is better. As for mods - they are a team effort - usually about 3 or 4 people in a team, myself being the graphical designer and basic coder. The mods I was working on have not yet been released to the public - (still some work to be done) but there are some great mods ...

Reworked Monsters (DMJava)
Hey! As some may have noticed, I've been trying to "add to" the java code for DMJ. This is still happening - but is taking some time. Anyway, in between doing this, I've taken some time to rework the monsters in DMJ. Graphical modification has been a hobby of my for some time (done alot fo...

Just a little update...... Hmmm, is been hard going, but a few bits here and there are working out, although very slowly. Custom Graphics for DMJava.
Hey. I've been looking into "editing" DMJava for these past few days, and if you've read my previous posts, it's restricted to what you can do. (As some would already know!) I've been trying to understand the Java language - which I will state I'm very new at - to the point this is my firs...
