Re: [RTC] Black Gate

Zed5duke looks really like we will not be getting delight from the times of dark abyss. But still make something kill the champions when at dead-end or at least put a no-save tiles at dead-ends, it is incredibly annoying to start the whole dungeon all over again. Yeresday i did try to download you'r...

I am clearly below average (actually just barely over half of it) and with such good manners you have I can really feel it! And to think even I am considered polite in finnish forums, because I do not swear! (however people rarely tell it because they prefer saying something rude. I am much more oft...

You can only create FUL bomb in DMjava (and it's a WIZARD spell there), or custom dungeon made by RTC if you make a spell. But sorry, I do not remember the runes.

Re: Blunt and Sharp Resistances

I do not think you can separate the resistance and hit probablity (make sure you were facing the monster when you tested however, that may cause strange inaccuracy at least in my experince), but you CAN make ninja attacks to not penetrate armour: take a look at the attack styles: action type Damage_...

People here are very polite

The topic text says it, and it's a good thing! there are no post at the "for pruning", and at the times of cowsmanaut forums if I remember right there were only 3 (one was by some finn trying to find if there were any others in finnish and another was my stupid test of moderation effective...

Re: Englanders seem very bookish sometimes

The best "global" langague would probaly be sweden. It's words are about as easy to learn as english ones, but it does not have those annoying exceptons and exceptions of the exceptions everywhere, and is mostly like finnish: spoken and written the same way. Imagine if some african ar asia...

Re: [RTC] Black Gate

Zed5duke you are not a bad dungeon producer at all -dragon tomb demo proves it to even the most negative players. But I do agree with Ian, you should be far more careful with dead-end situations. And if you have not already noticed, there are quite a bunch of them at dark abyss too. (the pitfall wil...

Re: Engalnders seem very bookish sometimes

I am thinking, could it be because of that fact it's impossible to know how english words are said by just reading them? In finnish you say every letter just the same, no matter where they are used. Only exception is the C, which is however not used in standard words. It's probaly that written finni...

Englanders seem very bookish sometimes

I have noticed one thing about dialects: On finnish forums, more people than not use dialect more or less. You can freely use it without getting comments about it, unless you let it too strong, and you can use it just as if you were speaking. But at any english forum, obvivously as natural finlander...

I agree i am bit careless, but wasn't this theard about 3d dungeons, not resurrecting theards? Besides, if 4 years ago (which is fairly long time in terms of computer gaming) poaple have been wondering why there are still no 3d dungeons, I think it is now really some reason for the interested to tal...

Fights easier than in original? you have made your accounts archmasters in original... with CSB accounts or normal accounts from original (meaning that they are about lo-on masters in their best skill) the fights are definetely harder, much harder. Re: New Unique Game.

If this is true you have already made a dungeon twice size of the largest existing right now. I think it's really time to give it an ending or a sequel ending if you still want to do something. I believe this will create the category "very large dungeons", spanning 30 levels or more, about...

There is a method taking it to a distant tile, that I am sure for. I be nay probaly the rite person talakin' about correct english, but when ye be askin' somethin' ye should say "would it" instead of "it would". Oops, I always forget that dialect only works in your home langague....

But anyway, turn left when you are standing just where you screenshot, press that small button, step (And step, don't turn) two times right as quickly as possible, and be as fast to kill the next foe you encounter or you will be in big trouble!

All of below is for Forest of Doom. Sukumvit is closer to DM/DM2 but with new ambient music and sounds. 1. all new monsters but of course cloned from the most similar from DM or DM2. For example, my ogre is based on axe man, wolves are the same but with new graphics. 2. replace graphics mostly, add...

Re: RTC vs. DM Java

Hmm... RTC in overall is by far the best, mostly due it's possiblites, but DMjava is bit more simple to use (if you manage to install it thats it) and more powerful at some situations: it can add different items and mosters faster and make a bit different versions of them much more quickly (you do n...
