Tried what you suggested, i.e. putting a semi-colon in column one. Still didn't work.
It's just that I have got so used to using the same keys for mouse and keyboard games.
Do you have a config.text that I can use for my qweasd keys?

I made a backup of the config file before I started altering it. I just changed the number pad keys to q, w, e, a, s, and d for movement and saved the file. No joy. I am right-handed and find it awkward to have to use the number pad. Guess I'm to used to RTC and DSB. Don't understand why it doesn't ...

Still progressing and the enemy is throwing everything at me. They are getting better (must be upgrades), but are no match for my 4 death-dealers. Well, it took me long enough to train them from nothing to master level. Arrived at the end of the level, where there are stairs going up as well as down...

Kill the mummy, use the key which frees the knights and run like hell to the teleporter. Sends you to The Hall Of Champions. If you don't make it in time/the nights corner you, just re-load your save or start again, remembering where to run.

RTC comes with 2 versions of Dungeon Master, Chaos Strikes Back and Dungeon Master 2. Why not try it?

I can't change the keyboard settings for mods for CSBwin. Tried changing the settings in the dir and it still won't let me change them. I want to use "w" for move forward, "e" to turn right, "q" to turn left....etc..
Can somebody please help?

Where can I download The Black Flame for CSBwin?

Played Captive a very, very long time ago on Amiga. Just downloaded and it plays fine. A little disappointed that you are given a character and not be able to choose your own.

Downloaded and tried with DSB v.0.79 and got: dsb_replace_condition requires int in param 1. So I tried DSB v.0.69 and it works fine. I prefer unrestricted runes but I want the extras, so I must play the DSB version. Would love a Chaos Strikes Back version, or isn't that possible? Anyway, very nice ...

Finally found the stairs down as well as another skeleton key, which I went and used. Still have an Onyx key from the previous level, so hope that I haven't missed anything. Just a relief to progress. A corridor that goes on forever? Ah, just as I thought. Compass didn't help. Saved my game for later.

I just downloaded the Dungeon Master manual and looked at what each rune meant and in some cases it's very opposite. I had Dungeon Master on my Atari St and then Amiga but don't have them any more. Wish I'd kept them. Long time ago. Anyway, cast the spell and the door opened.

Arnie, Bruce, Clint and Indiana. Trained them up from re-incarnated and doing fine. Except, I fell in the wilderness area again. Found a way out (eventually), probably by pure luck. This time I can't escape, so had to quit and load a saved game. Is there an easy way to get out of this area?

Tried about 8 hazes, marking each with rat meat, so I didn't repeat and eventually found it. So, at least I am progressing, ever so gradually. Running low on food, so going back to a previous level to get some more.
