Magic! In fact I've always found that any game with a mage or magic in it, I Play first. Rightly so, weak to start but so much (over)power later. Normally by the worm level IN DM all 4 characters have higher wizard and priest levels. in DM2 all characters are casting Mon Guard spells without fail in...

gamefaqs voting?

I'm sure everyone knows gamefaqs well they are starting the nominations for there annual Summer Character battle. I've already Submited Torham from Dungeon master 2: Skullkeep, no none of the DM character will make to end, too many fanboys but I'd atleast like to toss a few DM characters into it and...

I'd say lurker at all these forums except maybe custom dungeon and barely doing "help a little". I try to aim for that 1%, fail that quickly and then try to get as close to that 9% as i can, and maybe do that once "a life time". BTW as for how idle is idle? leveling up? you might...

MASSIVE overhaul

ok Alot has changed now. originally level maps were the exact same as DM that is no longer true. Infact in some places you do have to find the imaginary wall. Some items(i think more early) remain in the same spot but almost always the path is altered. so the hidden item in "the matrix" mi...

I'd say it's more a hack 'n slash demo. something more simple but feature length. I am more of a fan of puzzles and do enjoy avoid killing, so this helps practice the more tedious "slaughter fest" parts of rpg. so here is to a DM 1.2 or something. Perhaps by the time it comes to port to rt...

nexus video in VLC?

DM nexus use's duck true motion codec plays fine in vlc, other saturn games use costume cinepak(.cpk) I guess if people have other saturn games with the cpk try old release's of VLC(i tihnk 7x not 8) to play the files. sorry for the mix up had it reversed(thought DM Nexus used cinepak).

my gygax history

I grew up playing D&D basic an off shot from the orginal D&D, while Gary favored the ad&d specificly he has done some work with "d&d basic". This was shortly before I heard of Dungeon Master. I've played maybe 3 ad&d games(AFIK 2nd edition) in my life. I kinda lost trac...

RIP Gary Gygax

It pains me to announce this here.... Gary Gygax the father of D&D died today. Like mentioned in an old thread: If Gary Gygax didn't create D&D then DM would never existed. I'm still shaken to the core about this. "the pain is still to near"
