[Done for V0.45] [Reopened] Magic Map Double Res

Post by Gambit37 »

OK, I know this is incredibly unlikely to be considered, but would it be possible to reduce the res of the magic map icons so that you get a grid of 14 squares, rather than 7? Although it's a nice feature, I always found its limited range a bit pointless.

Not for the magic map itself. However, that doesn't rule out having another kind of map which does have the better resolution...

What was actually done here? I can't see anything in the magic maps that allows the use of smaller icons to increase the viewable area?

The high resolution magic map is a different object type to the normal one.

Try using a MISC_SCROLL_MAP_MAGIC_LARGE and see if that does what you were expecting...

Oooh, cool, I must have missed that one.

EDIT: Just tried it -- perfect! Thanks! :)
