sounds some some random calculation thing has got buggered up somewhere along the line - rats should drop 1 - 2 drumsticks each time

RTC uses between 0 and 2 inclusive; so rob, you've just been very unlucky.
Beowuuf; what makes you think that the minimum per drop is 1? I'm not saying you're wrong, just curious!

yeah, that means theres a 1 in 3 you wont get left any!! did you 'make this up'? or did ST DM do the same?

Yep, this (as with everything else in terms of gameplay) was done from memory. I could well have remembered wrong

In ADGE I'm sure you can see the probability of each item being dropped...
Plus, I trained in the Amiga version of DM beside the rat room...I never killed a set of rats that didn't drop a leg...I of course hoped for two and was disappointed with one!
