Re: modernize the champions
Yep. It sure is the "crap demon". However, you could add glowing eyes... and the "texture" looks like mud or some such. So it could be used for Daroou.
Sadly, 2-3hrs of Google Image searching things like "earth golem" and "mud monster" only turned up that (the only decent search result). So I'm guessing that it's gonna be the best bet.

Why the earth/mud golem pictures? Don't you search for Sasquatch pictures for Darouu?

I'm currently converting them to LoG Portrait format. I'll do versions for here too

Well... what's the point here? Apart from showing a few good-looking girls in an "economy-class" armour?
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

The point is:
Showing the real Heroïc Fantasy Red Sonja and a real reincarnation.

Re: modernize the champions
"Real" in this case seems a poor choice of words.... how about "adolescent fantasy depiction"?
Re: modernize the champions
OK. I meant: The original Red Sonja ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Sonja ).
Red Sonja, the She-Devil with a Sword, is a fictional character, a high fantasy sword and sorcery heroine created by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith, and loosely based on Red Sonya of Rogatino in Robert E. Howard's 1934 short story "The Shadow of the Vulture". She first appeared in the Marvel Comics book Conan the Barbarian #23 (February 1973).
Red Sonja has become the archetypical example of the fantasy figure of a fierce and stunningly beautiful female barbarian who typically wears armor resembling a bikini or lingerie. She was ranked first in Comics Buyer's Guide's "100 Sexiest Women in Comics" list

Of course we all know Red Sonja, also thanks to Brigitte Nielsen AND especially the formidable Arnie with his unmistakable Styrian English (we have to lëürn how to stay alërt).
