a World of Dungeons

Post by chicas »

Hi,

How about traveling the world through ancient dungeons? Interested ? So here's A World of Dungeons. Transylvania to Egypt, abandoned sewers of New-Yorks to the cellars of a French mansion, you will travel to save the pillars of the earth!

I don’t tell you more about the story so far, but here is some additional information about this project:

A World of Dungeons is a DungeonMaster-like, based on the construction of random mazes. Each dungeon has a thematic. Currently, we have defined ten of them. A thematic is a universe, monsters, loot, walls ...

Some key points of the game:
  • - focussed on survival in a hostile environment (food, health, sleep ...)
    - adventure with quests
    - solo or multiplayer.
    - up to 4 heroes solo.
    - infinite
    - customization of your hero
    - alchemy (creating potions ...)
    - opportunity to trap your way
    - character progression without levels, but more you attack with a sword, more you'll be good with a sword.
    - multi-races, humans, orcs and dwarves. More will come.
    - water and lava.
The team. For now, we are two, an artist and a developer (married). Our base is in the middle of the Alps, Switzerland.

I add screenshots at the end. Note that the project is only at an embryonic stage and there are still mountains of things to do.

I hope I have piqued your curiosity and if you have question don't hesitate to reply to this post :)

Awesome, another great looking dungeon crawler style game. This one looks very promising.

Looks good! And one-shotting beholders...looks like the tables have turned for RTC players.
