Older Versions of RTC

Post by vexirk356 »

Is there anyway I can download earlier versions of RTC. I am after version 0.34 in particular.

Many thanks

Copy the location properties of the current version, and change the revision number to the one you desire. I believe you can go far enough back with this method

THis should probably included on the page where you download RTC normally from. (since quite some dungeons are bound to specific versions.)
then again, dungeons come in packages, with a version included, so nevermind!

Thanks Beowuuf. The reason I ask for this version is that I am getting so far on games and then finding strange endings. Like doors not opening or just plain walls with no where else to go. I can only put this donw to the fact that I am playing them on RTC.V49 whne they were originally designed for much earlier versions. Well lets hope thats the reason.

I think my dungeons do stupid things if you play them on a newer RTC. I know for sure Surgical Strike does. Dark Portal may or may not work-- I haven't used RTC in ages.

I am playing Unidane and that just ends a couple of levels down. Don't know if this IS the designed ending but it seems very very small. Another one was Vexirk Catacomb which I can't seem to go any further in.

Both are pretty old, but Unidane may well just end... been too long playing around with these dungeons I guess! I cannot remember how it ends, hopefully someone else can say
