hmm, probably, depending on what size your dungeon file is.

If it's too big to attach you can post it on somewhere like sendspace and either email or PM us the download link.

Apologies for the late reply. Long hours to work. Not much time.
I'll email the RTC file if that's okay. It will just be the dungeon, minus any cosmetic stuff (which bumps up the size of the file considerably)

I just started Dark Reign 2 with the same party I had in the previous Dark Reign.
I understand, testing is to report to the author if there is something wrong.
I will publish no spoiler, no opinion on the forum.

IMO The previous Dark Reign from Saumun was excellent.

Aaaargh....
Have just discovered a problem in the last part of the last level.
It is not a dead end and does not prevent completion. It just makes potentially it much, much easier than it should be.

I have sorted it now. If you'd like me to send the file again, let me know.

Might as well, I haven't started on it yet. I expect to be starting in on it on Wednesday, after my Spanish exam.

Re: Testing a new dungeon...

Sorry about this... but if you haven't already started, use the new RTC file i just sent out (2.92).
There are a couple of minor changes to levels six and seven, but nothing to affect the game in general.

So... If you have already started, then just ignore.

Re: Testing a new dungeon...

Further apologies....
I have just sent you all another RTC file (2.93)
I have found and corrected two further problems (details in the email).
As before.... The game can still be completed despite them. If you have not yet (or only just) started, then use this new file. Otherwise carry on.
I have now completed a second run through, and am pretty confident everything works as it should.
I don't plan to make any further changes unless you guys find any.

@ Terkio: I notice you seem to be doing a lot of testing of DR2, I'm guessing you're enjoying it a lot. I'm not far in yet but I'm definitely getting into it myself.

I spent another 18+ hours testing session for a few levels more. This dungeon is humongus.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm also getting testy with it, na-na nanana.

The puzzles are definitely plentiful, more plentiful then the monsters. They're all also solvable so far, from in info you have available to you in the game, no need to beg for spoilers from the dev or someone who found a solution by hours of trial-and-error and dumb luck. Puzzles that require either a spoiler from someone who's already solved it or dumb luck are a pet peeve of mine too, so I love this game, it keeps you on your toes with just enough monsters to not be able to get complacent, and challenging puzzles that make sense and have clues to their solution in game, or can be solved by a logical approach.

That's the long version, the short version is -- I love it so far.

Now back to the testing...

That sounds like a call for me to do some more testing. I guess I'll have to go back into the dungeon and get testy again. :)
