Is it possible to convert Dmsave.dat from PC to Atari ST ??

Hi,

i found a tool to convert dungeon.dat from PC to Atari ST, but it don't works with the savegame Dmsave.dat :cry:

does someone knows the solution ?

i saw you are the creator of DM Alternate.

is it possible, with CSBuild, to save a custom dungeon to dungeon.dat or dmsave.dat, at your will ?

You can't convert save games to a dungeon.dat.

CSBuild will only save the file in it's original format (save or dungeon) and will also make it incompatible with anything other than CSBuild and CSBwin.

Until someone writes another tool, there's no way to do what you want.

Indeed, there is too much additional information needed in a dmsave.dat.

I'm sure CSBuild kept the file integrity in older versions...like, really old...because that was why questions like the expanded database question, etc used to be asked - to keep the saved game compatible with Atari and other editors. I guess wait to see what Paul says on the matter!
