How do you mean unusable? Garbled graphics, or bad clouring? Also, which graphics are you wanting to play with? PC DM or CSBwin DM - if the latter, you should use ADGE instead

thank for reply

like you said the graphics are garbled.
Can you say me then what graphics.dat to use?
So i give a try to adge (first i was missing fm20.dll so i download it)
but when i try to start it i have:
Run time Error:'7' Out of memory.

BTW i have read the topic about ADGE v 0.4... let's wait.

see you an thank again

I think it supports graphics.dat from atari and PC DM - which are you taking from?

For monsters, the background colour (transparent colour) may vary.

Flesh colour and orange colour are replaced at runtime according to the level. That's why rats, for ewample, are orange and pink.

From DMExtract Readme

Code: Select all

-i 1/2/3/4... Alter primary IMG encoding
	............... default: IMG1/2
See like these 1/2 is need for extract graphic from DM PC
And 3/4 for CSBwin (graphics from atari version)

.bat file is just command, simple open it trough notepad and made second one. I have two .bat files for extracting DM PC and CSBwin

Difference is destination folder name and number -i 4 for CSBwin graph
