Encyclopedia Filedecoder problems

Post by Gambit37 »

I'm trying to use the FileDecoder script to extract the frames for the Amiga version of the CSB intro movie. I have previously successfully done this and built a Bink movie from them.

However, it's not working anymore. I drag the ANIM.DAT onto the VBS file and get the warning with the OK message, which I click. I then receive this error:

Windows Script Host:
------------------------
Script: DM CSB & DM2 Data File Decoder v0.8.vbs
Line: 56
Char: 2
Error: Input past end of file
Code: 800A003E
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

Any ideas how to solve this Christophe?

OK, so I was doing it wrong -- didn't have the map files in the right place.

However, there is no map file for this resource, so I am stumped as to how I originally extracted the full frames of this animation???

Doh, I was using the DATA file decoder, not the ANIMATION decoder! Ooops.  It's fine now.
