Anyone spoken to George?

Post by Gambit37 »

George hasn't been here for ages. I've emailed him and got no response. Has anyone heard from him? I'm worried.

I saw him lurking a few weeks ago, but not heard anything.... can you check the last time he logged on?

Oh!

24 Aug 2008 @ 08:28pm

Only two days ago. I'm relieved.

But... are we that dull these days? Come and say Hi GG! :-)

Hey GG, you visit but don't respond anymore? I hope everything's alright. Say a little hello some time just so we know you're OK.

He posted and said he'd be busy for a few months, but didn't say if it was like 'woohoo, new kid' kinda good busy or 'so much work at work I will never see daylight' busy

Both!

Still alive, still checking the forum once in a while, and still accumulating a whole pile of emails that I *really* will get around to replying to when I have a free moment...

The trouble with life is that it keeps getting in the way of having one. :D

By George, it's GEORGE! :)

Don't know you, but anyone on a Dungeon Master Forum for nine years
is a welcome sight indeed.

And unless I misunderstood, a possible addition to your family, as well?

Life just gets

better and better.

Whee! Good to see you around George! And yeah, real life is a bitch - I seem to miss all the fun and/or excitement here in this forum whenever I am away for another week or two.

Congrats on the little one, George.
It's good to know that you're still kickin', and that the project ain't fully dead. It may be close to being on its death-bed, but that's life... baby comes first.

George, what is your new baby's name, so that I can not call him/her "the little one" or "the baby"?

If it's a baby, maybe "Screamer" at the moment, to be changed to "Giggler" later on...or "Chaos" ;).

Yeah - for instance, when a floor is tiled, I tend to walk square-by-square. Sometimes people are quite surprised by a fast side-step. And I cannot move diagonally.

And sorry Gambit, I was away from my PC when you came into the chat room. I still on if you wish to log back on.
