In The ST Version CSB you could transfer charactrs from the original DM instead of using the prison.
Is this present in this version, or does it plan to be implemented soon?

Try to use it, and you will see the error message from Paul Stevens.
Unless Paul has changed his stance, it's not something he was planning on, or at least anything he was planning on in the immediate future.
What you can do is put your saved csbsave.dat into DMute, and quickly edit the stats and pictures to the likeness of your DM party.
