Energy Bolt spell (or similar)

Post by PaulH »

Bolt as in arrow, slayer or dart. Think magic missile.

Runes: Ya Gor Ra

Basically a magic bolt of the above description that effects a single target like the way a Des Ven spell does. But the effects could be programmed to hurt certain creatures more than others eg organic creatures. Due to increased mana cost over Des Ven, it hits harder but is also harder to cast.
A wizard spell. Use the posion dart graphic (if possible), else the lightning bolt graphic.

If you do not like this spell, or any of the ideas I have put forward concerning it, please be polite so we can have a mature discussion.
Thank you.
Christopher

Do you mean like Des Ven as in it will poison the monster? Which effects of Des Ven do you mean? Projection and contact? That would be good. Poison effect? That would be bad. That would make Des Ven useless. You could simplify the spell and take out the Ra symbol... only if you wanted. Good spell idea.

How about just Zo Gor - expensive but still not too bad for an offensive spell
High in magical damage, keep it low in physical or fire to offset it from lightning bolt
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!
