Playing CSB in CSBwin (guide)

Post by beowuuf »

Form a post by Paul:

You save the game in the prison.

You restart the program. Select "Utility". Select "Make
New Adventure". Overwrite the CSBGAME.DAT (Make a copy
beforehand if it makes you feel better.)

Restart the program. Select "Dungeon". Select "Resume".
Select "CSBGAME.DAT". Kill the worms or run out of the
room quickly.

Now you can use the four save game files as you please

Continuing games from PC DM:

Open your dmsave.dat file using CSBuild.

Say yes to all error message, including one about reading in a different endian.

The DM dungeon should load - save the dungeon as 'csbgame.dat' in the CSBwin folder, if you are using modules in the 'atari-csb' module, if not in the root directory with CSBwin.exe.

Proceed with the intructions above as if you have saved a game in the prison.
