Avatar Title

Post by Paul Stevens »

When I post, My posting comes complete
with a small picture (Avatar?) and a title:
"Prolific Poster of Doom".

Where does that title come from? I cannot
believe that I chose that or typed it in.
Can I change it? How?

it depends on how many of posts you`ve posted. You can upload a picture you want to, but I believe only the admins can change the title.

I think that was one Gambit put in - we can either change the general rank, or give you a specialist rank (like CSBwin guru, etc)

"CSBwin Guru" would be better
than Poster of Doom.

I don't recall setting up PPOD, thought you had Beo? Anyway, glad Paul gets a more appropriate title! :-)

I think you had to introduce it as the steps didn't work out correctly in the previous rankings. If anyone gets a few thousand above my current post count, then I think there might be some comments on that rank!

There is also an insane rank made by me due to a comment by you Gambit - you should check it out to see if you remember it :D

"Prolific Poster of Doom"
actually, what does that means? I know what prolific, poster and doom means separately. But "prolific poster of doom" together?? :P

It's when the 'other half' of your tire is flat. It is then 50% more flat.
(Actually, that would be 100% more flat then 50% flat. :? )

Hmmm. Let me try another way of explaining it...

It's kind of like radiator and gladiator; kind of the same, but then, kind of different.

It means he believes Earth is a Pizza.
It's round but not that round, it's flat and still fat.

The real question is: back from what ?
A pizza has no back, unless you consider that the bottom is back.

It will require some backward thinking.

Waiting for that, let's chew the flat.

Now it all seems more complicated than the Quest for the Holy Scroll. Or was it a Holly Scroll?

Mmm, pizza...

I was back after a 3 week hiatus, because I bought a 50% share in a flat - hence, i was back, with 50% more flat than I possessed previously :D

Whew! I was afraid you were going to say you were HALFback.
That would have brought up a football scenario that might have been truly STAGGERING.

So saith the new ARTISAN.
(I always thought that was the most prestigious sounding title in DM ) 8)

Stay here long enough and some nice Admin might give you a title of your own choosing ;).

Hmmm. Suppose I could start a secret 'post jump' thread,
and just spend an entire day posting useless comments
(er, something like this one perhaps)?

Naah. I'm sure someone like Beowuuf would manipulate my post count to the negative realm.
