Help with CSBwin

Post by Thaedius »

Hi there.
I have CSBwin 9.8v143 installed, and I'm not sure if I have encountered a bug.
When you use a thrown weapon, ie stones, daggers, shuriken, dont they normally replenish from your right hand leg pocket?

CSBwin is based on the atari ST version 2.0 which didn't had this feature. So it's not a bug.
However this could easily be fixed with a DSA (a feature of CSBwin).
I think it would a good idea to release new dungeon.dat of DM and CSB including some fixes and sounds present in amiga and PC versions.

Right hand stealing gigglers and replenished throws and 'yeahs' and 'puuuuuuurps' and monster footsteps - oh my
The 'drink from fountains' would be doable but very evil for the poor soul who has to stalk the dungeon and replace every water fountain with a trigger to a DSA trigger!

Well I've gone back to a previos version of CSBwin which has the feature in it. I just have to switch to the newer one to transfer the chars to CSB.

It was, no doubt, broken when I implemented
the Attack Filter capability. I'll fix it.

This seems to work in the latest CSBwin-CSBuild.zip.
