Playing Conflux II on GNU/Linux

Dead posts cluttering up the front page of certain non-RTC forums are kept here. Threads have the forum subject attached, except custom dungeon threads (which are obvious)

Playing Conflux II on GNU/Linux

Post by DarkShun »

Hi,

I wanted to try Conflux II on my computer which runs GNU/Linux. I downloaded the zip file, extract the files, rename Dungeon.dat to dungeon.dat and Graphics.dat to graphics.dat.

Now I can play, but I still have questions:

1/ What is the file "CSBgraphics.dat"? Need I to rename to something to use it? Is it used by the program?

2/ Can I import my character from CSB? Or the game must be run with newbies characters?

3/ Is there somewhere a forum exclusively for the Conflux dungeon?

Thks in advance

CSBwin uses it for additional graphics - you will need it, I believe with that capitalisation

You cannot import characters as the file used is mini.dat. You could use your conflux charatcers in CSB though!

No, there is no exclusive forum, there might be a wiki eventually. Ask questions in this forum, although it's best to stick to existing threads to not swap the forum I guess!
