Remove auto shadow from Food/Water bars

Post by Gambit37 »

I've designed some really nice food and water bars that integrate with a background image, but I just discovered I can't use it at all because RTC automatically draws a black bar underneath them to simulate the shadow used in the original game.

Would it be possible to have the option to override this?

Offtopic: Those food/water bars looks pretty damn nice, Gambit. I must admit, I am impressed.

Dmjava has same issue I have a black background so no problems there, probably someone has to edit source to make shadow transparent or just remove it.

No solution, GG vanished for the last few months. He said he was going to be busy.

In the mean time, I would have to change my design to account for the shadows.

Personally I'd suggest leaving as is for the moment and revist later. My eye doesn't grab on it even zoomed in. It's your baby so your bound to be driven nuts by little details that most people won't notice or be bothered by.
