Happy Holidays

Post by Seriously Unserious »

Since it's getting close to that time of the year I just thought I'd send out good holiday wishes to all the forum members and guests. Whatever holiday you celebrate at this time of the year, I hope it's a good one.

I'll add my 'happy holidays' and best wishes for the coming year to everyone.

P.S. Don't you just hate getting gifts you really don't want?

Happy time off for work because some people like to believe in some magical fat dude in a red outfit that keeps lists of your childrens names and breaks into your house at night time! Or happy it's not really jesus' birthday but everyone likes to pretend it is because it was more convenient to romans thousands of years ago. hmm.. no that's not right either.. Happy winter solstice and new year... enjoy the holidays if you have them :D see.. I'm not so good at politically correct greetings :D

Thought you did a pretty good job...especially for a guy with a cow-mask on his avatar.

Midwinter Gift Exchangement Day, for those who seriously have a difficulty with a birthday celebration.

P.S. Cows: Ever have a birthday party on the wrong day, just for convenience's sake? Me? I hate surprise parties, so I usually schedule a feast on my birthdays.

This is why I chose the more generic term of "Happy Holidays" so as to get around all the mess of exactly what the name is of the holiday a reader is celebrating, because pretty much every culture celebrates some sort of holiday at this time, seeing as how we're near the winter solstice, and the time when the days start getting longer again, or for our friends down south, the summer solstice and the shortening of days, so there's something for everyone at this time of year. :)

But take hart, Cows, you didn't do a bad job of holiday wishes yourself. I think you did a pretty darn good job -- for a guy with a cow mask in your avatar at least :P

That is a ninja.. no cow mask.. it's one of my oooooold paintings.. I think it's no longer online, as the website I'd kept it on no longer exists. Though I thought I had a back up of it somewhere.. some ancient dying hard drive..

Ah, I stand corrected. I guess we were just assuming it was a cow mask based on your username.

Merry Christmas (with tons of presents and/or snow) and Happy New Year to everyone here - or, as we say, to "all people of a good will" which is basically the same on these forums. :D
