Goodbye :-)

Post by Gambit37 »

The forums have now moved to a new host, and so the time has come for me to also move on.

The last 18 years of involvement in the DM community have been pretty amazing. It's been great getting to know everyone but all good things come to an end. My admin role will be demoted to a regular user like the rest of you. I will no longer be able to edit anyone's posts or tell you how to behave ;-)

Many thanks to everyone who made this a great place to hang out: I've made some great friends and had amazing conversations over the years. I hope that those who remain continue to have fun here, and above all, keep the memory of Dungeon Master alive.

Goodbye Gambit - you are an awfully nice man with an awfully big legacy here: thank-you for being an inspiration and hope to see you occasionally lurking, like me, around here...
The stonework walls? Pristine. The floor? Level. The waterworks? Flowing. Central heating? The Dragon in the basement was grumpily heating the pipes. Lord Chaos consulted the blueprints again, looking for the bathroom. #playmygame!

Wow, goodbye Gambit.
To echo the others, I hope you'll drop in from time to time even if it's just for a quick glance.

I wish you the best Gambit, even if my wish comes rather late. May Lady Luck always be with you.
